His gaze

From hills to ocean,
We tackled every road,
Every ray of love guided us,
Morning dew soaked in every mistake,
Hands were tied with strings of guilt,
Giving up wasn't an option,
His eyes led me to closer to open the door,
The gaze was captivating,
Just how moon needs sun,
I need him.

My shine is gone,
He didn't come,
The rain is wetting the grass,
I can see a ghost,
I ran to see,
It was a stranger, not him.
