She just as held back by two strong men as she watched her son walk up to the guillotine, showing no remorse. She wanted believe he would never commit such heinous crimes, she really did but the way he walked up to that guillotine, a slight smirk on his once sweet, innocent face, wasn't going to convince anyone that he wasn't guilty.
She gave up struggling against the two men and watched as her son bent his head under blade and in a second, his head fell into the basket. She couldn't scream, couldn't cry...all she could do was watch. Even as the two men let her go, she didn't move.
How could her son...her sweet, sweet son have done this?
