Two years after the released of My Safe Zone, while waiting for another series to move forward, Miu accepted her family's offer. London needed her. The hotel and restaurant chain needed a steady hand, and she was the one they trusted.

She stayed longer than planned.

Now, four years later, her brother's wedding called her back to Thailand. Publicly, she returned to celebrate and to support his transition into managing the family's vehicle dealership. It was a neat story. Acceptable. Believable.

It just wasn't the whole truth.

Miu hadn't come back only for a wedding. She had come back for another acquisition—one she couldn't list on paper or sign into a contract. A personal one. She had given it time. A lot of time. She had built her name carefully, deliberately, far from home.

Then the wedding invitation arrived.

She still visited the Taechamongkalapiwat household. Still bought her Audis from Miu's family, pretending the familiarity meant nothing, that history was something that stayed politely in the past.

But how was she supposed to face Miu, after finding out she was getting married?
