"Why is it kinda funny?" Noel said, chuckling. I love it whenever her upper teeth shows slightly when she smirks softly.
"It's meant to be funny..." I said defensively, nudging the belt on her pants with my toes, although I'm wearing my socks.
We're inside my brother's treehouse that he had abandoned after that day his girlfriend dumped him because apparentlyhe's too old for a treehouse.
I rolled my eyes when I see her eyes crinkling, as she turned more pages from the notebook I would probably never use again, since the school ended, and we're doodling our notebooks for fun, maybe a way to appreciate the fact that we won't tire ourselves for a few months. Yet, she's probably laughing at my own doodles.
My back hurts from the wooden floor, and the only thing my head is rested at was my bag, because that good looking friend of mine is using the only pillow.
"The princess died... So sad." She pouted, the notebook falling out from her hand as she adjusted herself to lay down. When she closed her eyes, the world would stop for a bit. And I could look at her all day without her knowing it. I could look at her without causing problems.
It was small moments like this that makes you feel life just right at your palm.
