Zayn walked around the table, "Can I borrow your cell-phone to call my.. Uh, dad?"

"Don't you have your own?" I questioned. He hesitated, "Well yeah, but it died."

I gave him my phone and he typed something. Harry took it after, typed something in, and gave it back with a smirk.

Liam and Louis drove around our stand in a black hummer and blacked out windows. The five of us loaded glasses into the car. Harry and I reached for the last box simultaneously, brushing hands.

I could feel him looking at me... Without making eye-contact (in fear of awkwardness) I quickly packed up the last box.

I walked to the side of the car to get in. Shit. Harry and I still hadn't got in and there was one seat left. "Um there's only one seat." Harry turned to me, "it's fine, you could just sit on my lap." Zayn got out of the car and stood next to me, our hands barely touching, "No thanks Hazza, I can get my car."

Harry smiled sarcastically to Zayn as he drove up in a matching hummer but in white. He leaned his head out of the window, "You can come with me if you'd like, Anna." Harry looked at me with puppy eyes and Cassidy waved me to Zayn.

I began walking towards the white hummer when Harry spoke to me, "I'll see you when we get there, I guess."

Zayn got out of the car and opened the passenger door. Without saying anything, I got in and closed the door myself. We sat for a minute, waiting for Liam to begin driving.

The black hummer was soon out of sight. "You do realize we're not moving, right?" I questioned. Zayn put his hand against the side of my face and leaned in to kiss me "I wanted to tell you something."

Aaaaannnddd, my phone rang right as our lips touched. We both jerked away from each other.

"It's Cassidy." I told him. I put the phone on speaker:

"Hey where are you two!"

"The car wouldn't start, but were coming now." Zayn said quickly.

"Okay well meet us at Pier Park." She said and hung up.

In case you've never been to Panama City, Pier Park is a shopping mall on the beach.

"Before you say anything, I want you to know that I'm here for the summer to work. Not for a relationship." I informed him and stared out the window. "Oh...Well it wasn't like that anyways..." He said quietly and drove off.

He turned on the radio and skipped stations until he found a Coldplay song, "Oh I love Coldplay." We both said.

We looked at each other. His eyes were so beautiful, I thought. I looked away. Don't do this to yourself, Anna. All guys are the same, and they'll all break your heart eventually.

He started to sing along with the song.

And he can sing, apparently. So now it's obvious that life hates me.

Liam's car pulled over on the side of the road and relieved me of my day-dreaming. Zayn stopped on the left side of their car and rolled down the window. Louis replied from the passengers seat, "We're out of gas, and I think it's going to rain."

We all looked up at the sky as small drops of rain landed on our skin. "Our house is 30 minutes back the other way." Cassidy said. The rain came down in sheets. "If the rain keeps getting worse as it is, then you should just stay at our house and order pizza. It's only 5 minutes from here, and we can all fit into Zayn's car." Liam suggested.

They all unloaded quickly and got in the car. Cassidy happily sat on Niall's lap so everyone would fit.

About two minutes into the drive, Zayn slowly reached for my hand. I ran my fingers through my hair and crossed my arms as if I didn't know what he was doing. I texted Christian, Kevin's oldest son who is a good friend of mine, that Cass and I would be staying at a friends house due to the fact that neither of us have a car and it's pouring rain. I have bad luck, if it's not obvious enough.
