Hello, my name is Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, though I assume you already know that. What you don't know is that I also have a sister. Don't worry, I didn't know either until about a month ago. So let's take things from the beginning.

It was the last day of school, and while for most kids it marked the beginning of summer, for all of us demigods it meant the first day at Camp Half-Blood. I woke up early that morning and went to the kitchen. Tyler was already there, eating breakfast with my mother. I sat down with them. She looked uneasy, as if she knew that something was about to happen. I didn't pay much attention to it, thinking it was just my imagination.

We got ready to leave, and just before we stepped out the door, my mother stopped us.
"Whatever happens," she said, "you must always protect each other. That's what heroes do."
I nodded, and she returned the gesture with a small smile.

As soon as we left the house, Taison turned to me and asked if our mother had seemed a little strange that morning. So it wasn't just me who had noticed it. I told him that maybe it was because she'd been through a lot lately, and we left it at that.

We took a taxi from the Fates, and before we even realized it, we had arrived at camp. At the same moment, Annabeth arrived as well. When we entered the camp, it felt different, almost empty. Many demigods were gone, sent on missions or having already chosen sides. It was only a matter of time before war broke out between the gods and the Titans. During this time, Kronos was gathering as much power as he could, trying to become stronger and unstoppable.

Everything had changed. Everyone was tense, alert, ready for anything. Still, the day ended with a gathering around the campfire, as always. But this time it wasn't the same. Some friends were missing, and their absence was impossible to ignore.

The next day began early, with combat training and archery. The lesson was suddenly interrupted when Chiron called an assembly for the entire camp. He told us that things had been difficult lately, something we all already knew. Then he announced news that left us speechless: Poseidon's trident had been stolen.

We looked at each other in shock. None of us had taken it, and no god would dare to. It was clear that Kronos was responsible, but we didn't know where the trident was at that moment.

Chiron continued, saying that I had been chosen for the quest and that I had to decide who would come with me. Because of the circumstances, this time I wouldn't choose just two companions, but four. The crowd erupted, everyone shouting my name, but I already knew whom I would take: Annabeth, Tyson, Grover, and this time, Clarisse as well. Things between me and Clarisse had changed, there was now trust between us, and I knew I would need a strong warrior.

Before the quest could begin, I had to receive approval, which came in the form of a prophecy:

"What you seek, you will find and bring back.
But the journey does not end there.
New faces you will meet, and the waters will be stirred.
A hero you will become,
through the sacrifice of another."

At that moment, I felt completely confused. But that's how prophecies are. So we gathered our things and prepared to begin the quest, with our destination...
