That only happened up until four months after the accident. I’m perfectly fine sitting in a car now, I just don’t like it.

Louis shook his head, my finger still on his lips.

‘See? So it’s fine, please don’t worry about going by car. I really don’t mind Lou, and if there’s anyone I trust driving me around it’s you.’ I said, now poking his nose.

Louis cracked a large smile at my words that lit up his whole face (and the world). ‘Hop in milady.’ He said, opening the car door for me.

‘Thanks Lou.’ I said, kissing his cheek quickly before climbing in the car.He walked around the car and got in on the driver’s seat.

‘Are you going to tell me where we’re going now?’ I asked when Louis turned the keys, bringing the car to life.

‘Nope.’ He said with a smile in his voice.

‘Buhuut Louuu.’ I whined.

‘I said no young lady. Now stop whining or you won’t get any treats today.’ He said, winking at me.

‘I’d better stop then, cause I love treats.’ I winked back. Not that he could actually see me winking, he was watching the road. What a good boy.

A while later he pulled up at the same café the boys took me to the very first day I met them. When we walked in the old man who owns the place walked up to us, greeting us with a happy smile.

‘Hello mr. Tomlinson, it’s so nice to see you again!’

‘You too Gerald.’ Louis said, smiling at the old man. ‘And please, just call me Louis.’

‘Fine, fine Louis, and I see you brought Lexi again. It’s lovely to see you again miss.’ He said, smiling at me.

‘It’s nice to be back here, I missed that brilliant bacon and egg sandwich.’ I smiled at the man.

‘I’ll get you that right away miss, and what can I get you?’ he asked, looking at Louis.

‘I’ll have the same, and we’ll take a few cookies too, oh and two cuppa’s.’ Louis said.

‘Coming right up sir.’ Gerald smiled, before walking away.

‘So, are you going to tell me where we’re going already?’ I asked Louis.‘Nope.’ He said, smiling smugly. ‘You’ll like it, I hope, I think, so don’t worry. Just drink your tea,’ he nodded to the steaming cups that were put down in front of us. ‘And eat your food when it comes here and have just a little more patience. You can do it.’ He said, patting me on the head.

I giggled at his motherly tone and scrunched up my face when he patted my head.

‘That’s a cute face.’ He said, tapping my nose lightly.

‘Oh stop it you.’ I giggled, swatting his hand away.

My wide smile stayed on my face the whole time we drank our tea and laughed more. Like I said earlier today, I don’t know what it is or how he does it, but that boy always makes me smile. I ate my food quickly, because it was so good and because I was so excited for the rest of the day. I’m literally dying to know where he’s taking me.

‘I’ll go pay the bill and then we can go. Your wait will be over soon.’ He smiled.

‘Finally!’ I exclaimed, overdoing it maybe just a little. I like to be dramatic sometimes.

Louis rolled his eyes playfully at my actions and went over to the counter. He took his time paying and making some small talk with Gerald, so I could put on my coat and stare at his ass.
