‘Do I really have to do this?’ I asked, turning around in the front seat of the car.
We were almost at the radio station where the interview and their weird ass guest of honour would take place. That weird ass guest of honour being me of course.
‘You’ll be fine love, just remember what we told you.’ Liam smiled at me.
I almost believed him. Almost. I mean have you seen those fangirls? One wrong word and they will rip me to pieces, burn me and spit on my ashes.
‘You worry too much Lexi.’ Niall said, placing his hand on my shoulder.
‘You guys worry too less! Those girls already love you guys, you can’t do anything wrong.
If I mess this interview up now, they’ll hate me forever.’ I said, my nerves growing every second.
‘You don’t even know how likable you are, do you?’ Louis said, smiling his award winning smile at me. What a doll.
‘There are already a lot of them out there that don’t like me, so don’t you tell me I’m so super likable. I’m not likeable to them.’ I replied, thinking back to some tweets I read.
‘What do you mean by that?’ Harry asked sharply.
Well well, did we unleash the beast just there?
‘Well, just, nothing.’ I muttered, turning back around.
I felt a new hand on my shoulder and looked back, right into Harry’s eyes. ‘What do you mean ‘there are already a lot of them that don’t like me?’ he asked, softer now.
‘Just some hate I received on twitter, nothing for you guys to worry about.’ I said, shrugging to make it seem like I didn’t care.
And boy do I care. Some of those girls are really vicious. They call me things like whore, bitch, slut, but some of them are more creative and need twitlongers to put all their hate towards me out there. I seriously considered quitting my job with the boys, but Kelsey and Sophia talked me out of it.
‘Lexi I’m so sorry.’ Harry said, a sad look on his face now. ‘We all know what it is to deal with hate, and it’s not easy.’
‘Try not to read it, don’t look at it. And please, please talk to us if you’re upset about it, we’ll help you.’ Liam said from the back.
Harry and the other boys all nodded approvingly at his words.
I felt my heart skip a couple of beats at their sweetness. These boys are truly the nicest guys I’ve ever met in my life.
‘I promise guys, but don’t worry too much about me. I’m a though one.’ I winked at them.
‘Were here people.’ Gary said, pulling over. ‘Paul is waiting inside, he’ll meet you there. As you can see there’s no mob outside this time.’
I sighed in relief when I noticed Gary was right, the door to the radio station was perfectly accessible.
‘Good luck guys.’ He said to the boys who were getting out.
My door was opened by Zayn who shot me a smile, holding out his hand.
‘Oh and Lexi, for all that matters, I do think you’re lovely.’ Gary smiled at me.
‘Thanks Gary, that matters a lot.’ I smiled at the old driver before taking Zayn’s hand and hopping out of the car.
‘Thank you kind sir.’ I winked at him, linking my arm with his.
The boys and I walked inside where Paul was waiting for us. ‘So, are you guys ready?’
‘Yeah we are.’ Louis smiled at him.
