disclaimer, while neteyam was kept alive in the previous book, i want this book to follow the themes of the new movie, therefore; unfortunately, we are gonna have to use our imaginations and remember i wrote that book two years ago, naive and hopeful that neteyam would be coming back alive in the new movie.. therefore, he is dead. ALARA AND LO'AK are in a good place, while mourning the loss of Neteyam, and trying to find the right balance, state and coping of big feelings in their own lives, they find immense comfort in the knowledge of one another being there.

HOWEVER, when lo'ak is to return home, and fight the reality of his fathers fate, their relationship struggles with the distant, pressure and loneliness that comes with it all, as well as learning to cope with grief without one another.

again, its been two years since i wrote the original book; although ive reread it, ive also grown up and a lot of the themes within the new movie have changed certain things in that book,

I know it is loved by many, so i will not be changing it, also i cannot be bothered tbh, please try your best to follow along, please be aware i know things may not perfectly align with the previous book, work with me here:
