Hero's

  • Dedicated to The Everday Hero's

* Another of my poems to say thanks to the people who make a difference everday and yet go unnoticed by many. Raise the awarness and spread the cause..Hero's are everywhere! *

Tall, handsome and strong

Wearing a cape that is very long

Their muscles bulging in their suits

Their shining black leather boots

Flying through the air

Trying to be fair

For everybody in the city

Ugly, old, young and pretty

They save from a crime

They save people time

They save people from the weather

Because they are very clever

But what about the ones

That have very round tums

Wear a suit and tie all day

And earn a worker’s pay

They are the Police coppers,

Ambulance, Fire  Brigade and Tree Loppers,

The SES, Coast Guard, mailman,

Everyday citizens and the man with the van

The people who go in disguise,

With no capes, powers and don’t fly,

They are the people we know,

That help, save and grow

So everyone hear this,

Please don’t dismiss,

Of the everyday hero’s
