This story will occur after the events of episode 7! You do not have to read this summary if you know what happens in episode 7! However, if you don't have time yet to watch it, here's a summary for context! (This will have episode 7 spoilers for those who haven't watched it though and I highly recommend watching it!!!)

Summary:

The whole group has a fun and relaxing beach day... or so we thought? We find out Jax has been at the brink of abstraction and practically welcoming it at this point. Pomni interrupted his last almost abstraction without knowing it. Jax lies about his almost abstraction on the guise of "taking a nap". EEK! SCARY! Focusing on Pomni, she finds a character who has been hiding from Caine, named Abel. His character looked exactly like an NPC instead of a fun looking character like the others. Abel said he worked with Kinger before to create the circus but Jax has his suspicions. Pomni encourages Jax to join along, even though Jax thinks something is wrong. Abel, the suspicious NPC looking character, makes sure to leave Kinger in the dark and kept mentioning weird things about how they were trapped in the first place. He showed them his plan that the he had been cultivating for forever and they agreed to enact it. Jax went to steal Caine's key by distracting him on a fun little date while the other's waited. Eventually they reach Caine's office and open a secret door. The door slides with a rumble, exposing a dark room with a gigantic computer screen and two buttons in front of it. Red: will close the console and keep all players inside the circus. Blue: End the game and disconnect all players. The group is finally provided with hope for escape but Pomni seems a bit anxious, she tries to get more time by talking about whether they should really press the blue button or if it was a trick. Everyone, being impatient to escape, told her to just press the button already when... Jax did something crazy. Jax's mind flooded with scary snippets of the real world, specifically of driving, of that one time he regretted the most and reminding him of the life he feared. His chest tightens, his hands begin to sweat. All of a sudden he begins running, gasping as his hand slams on the red button, the one choice nobody wanted. They were stuck in the circus. The screen goes white, revealing Caine and Abel, claiming the group won the good ending of the adventure he created. Apparently Abel really was just an NPC.. It was all an adventure, we think.. Jax starts going crazy, maniac laughter turning quick into him crashing out, his mask is fully vanished. Jax yealled in disbelief at Caine, saying that Caine controlled him and that Caine is fucked up for what he's doing and that Caine has been telling lies to all of them. Caine panics and leaves them with a soap and bath essentials basket, leaving behind a heavily confused, traumatized, and hopeless group by themselves.
