Natalie's POV
"We miss you here."
"I miss you guys too, a ton. It gets pretty lonely, and being with Kelley doesn't really help." Alex says and I hear someone scoff in the background.
"Hey Kelley."
"You know, you should tell your wife to be grateful that we're roomed together. I volunteered, out of free will." Kelley says as she comes into the frame, pointing her finger at me. "No one wanted to room with her Nat, but I did. As the good friend that I am."
"I'm like pretty sure you don't get to choose your roommate." I say, Kelley looks at me and rolls her eyes.
"It's no fun when Alex tells you how these things work."
I laugh, as I finally turn off the light in my room.
"Well, it's pretty late here. Charlie and I are going to go to the beach tomorrow morning."
"My baby, I should've called earlier so I could see her. But on Thursday, I promise I'll call earlier." Alex says.
The sadness in her face was very much noticed by me.
"I promise I'll send you tons of pictures of her tomorrow when we go to the beach. She misses you just as much as you miss her."
"I can't wait to see you guys again."
"We can't wait either."
"Before we hang up, two things." Alex says and I nod.
"What's up."
"Are you finally taking Taylor out of the house? Even if it's just to the beach for an hour."
"She's been moping around so yeah, I'm taking her. Plus who's going to be carrying around the snacks and the bags."
"She's not your maid, she's your sister."
"Babe. She agreed to it already. We've been working on music and since technically I'm still on a music hiatus. I'm working overtime, so she owes me." I say with a smile.
"Good lord, you two are so stupid sometimes." Alex says and Kelley laughs.
"Anyway what's the second thing you wanted to tell me."
"Oh yeah. Can you call Lizzie tomorrow and tell her Christen broke her phone so if she has the time, can you tell her to call me tomorrow at say 10 pm her time."
"Well that makes so much more sense as to why she was panicking when Christen wasn't answering her messages. I'll call her tomorrow morning and let her know."
"Thank you. We're not able to fix her phone until possibly next week." Alex says.
"Wait really? Why? What the fuck." I say confused as hell.
"We're not able to leave the hotel."
"Send me the address to where you are staying and I promise you I'll find a way for her phone to be fixed by Thursday."
"Wait seriously? You'd seriously be helping her out, she's panicking."
"I promise you, she'll have her phone fixed by Thursday. I'm also doing it for Lizzie's sake. I genuinely did not know that out of all people they would be having such a big problem by not being around each other."
"Okay, so I wasn't crazy when I thought the same thing. I mean Lizzie travels for acting and Christen is with her team like more than half the year."
"You geniuses, they've been living together since Covid started. I'm amazed Christen hasn't stolen someone's phone to call Lizzie." Kelley says.
"I thought they were already living together? Like before covid?"
"You know what, no one tells me anything. How would I know if my information is correct. I feel like I'm being bullied right now. I'm heading over to Tobin's room now. Thank you and goodbye." Kelley says as she waves her hand.
"What's up with Kelley?" I ask, Alex laughs as she covers her face.
"She got caught sneaking in her favorite treats." Alex says laughing.
"Why am I not surprised."
Alex continues laughing for a good five minutes before she finally calms down.
"Babe I have to go bed now, like actually."
"I know, tell Charlie I said goodnight and good morning."
"I will."
"Give her a kiss for me."
"I will babe. I promise. We'll see you soon, in person and on the tv. Go score some goals. We're rooting for you and the team. Oh I almost forgot, Taylor says hi and that she misses you."
"Tell her I said I miss her too." Alex says as she lays back down onto her bed. "I love you."
"I love you."
