I was on my way to the beach with my friends riding shotgun, music blasting, and the promise of sunburns, selfies, and endless laughter waiting for us.

Satoru driving in the front seat as if he owned it, smoke curling out the open windows as Satoru drove with one hand on the wheel. 

Yuji was stretched out in the back, Megumi stuck in the middle, Nobara irritated at the left, and they all laughed when they noticed Geto and the others driving past in another car.

I asked and joked, "Are we getting high there, if not ima bounce" Nobara cracked and said, "You know it twin" 

Satoru answered by pulling out a bag full of $ativa, hybr1d, and indic4. The car went quiet as every pair of eyes locked onto it like it was the most important thing in the world. 

Well.. to them it was.

An hour later. We finally pulled up to the beach, everyone started changing, and I slipped into a maroon-black laced two-piece with shorts so tiny they could barely even count as shorts.

It was almost 10 p.m. when we arrived, so the only option was the nearest beach party. Everyone walked over while texting their friends, trying to link up and see who was already there.

I was a little worried we'd end up taking something more than what Satoru took to the party that would make us black out and stranded. 

I walked up to Satoru and hooked my arm through his, teasing, "i'm scared," and he just laughed, slipped my arm off his and pulled me in by the waist instead. "you? a pussy? what's there to worry about?" he said, and I didn't question it.

We'd always flirt like that ever since I was legal enough for him, but it never really went past flirting.

We got to the party, tons of people I didn't know—but I saw Satoru, Yuji, and Megumi head over to Geto to catch up since the drive. 

I was left with Nobara, and we parted ways from the guys. I grabbed her hand since the crowd was wild, and she handed me a drink. We drank like maniacs, not sane enough to function.

While I was sipping my drink, I caught a glimpse of a guy that was at least 6 foot 2 tall near the waves smoking with a blonde girl.

He had spiky high ponytails, a prominent blood mark that runs from cheek to cheek across the bridge of his nose and a seriously toned physique. My jaw dropped dead.

He was looking right at me too, and before I knew it, he was moving closer as I stepped away from dancing with Nobara.

As he got closer, he casually took a drag from his smoked joint like it was nothing and said, "Choso, you?"
