Chapter 2

{ Hazelle }

I laid down in the grass and smelled the Autumn air. I opened my eyes as confusion struck me. What was I doing in this field? Where was I? Where was Liam? The more questions I started to ask myself the more worried I became. Suddenly I stopped myself as I realized the most important thing of all. It wasn't Autumn. It was Spring. "Oh my god" I whispered as I looked around in fear. I swiftly got up and looked around at all of knee high grass which seemed to go on for miles. I turned to the left and saw a forest in the distance. With fear racing through my body I quickly started running towards the forest not bothering to look back.

When I reached the pine needle coated forest floor, I was all out of breath. I sat down on a log and put my head in my hands. "Where am I?" I thought to myself. I decided to get up and keep walking deeper into the forest in hope that I might catch a pack members scent. As I breathed in the air to find a scent, I almost collapsed. As if things could get any worse, I couldn't smell a thing. My super natural sight, hearing, smelling were gone but to make things even worse, so was my wolf. I fell to the ground crying in pain and loss as everything around me started to make sense. It was all a dream. I have no wolf, I have no mate, Liam isn't real, werewolves aren't- My thoughts were cut off by a wolf appear out of nowhere. I thought about running but it was no use, I knew the wolf was going to kill me, I could see it in its eyes. I got up to prepare my self, but I didn't even have time to dry my tears the wolf was already running at me. I closed my eyes as it jumped up in the air and I held my breath and-

"Ahhhhhhh" I screamed jumping up in my bed trying to make the images of my dream go away. Liam jumped up next to me and grabbed me trying to calm me down. "Shhh baby girl, it's ok. It was only a dream. You're ok. Don't worry. I've got you." My voice was so soft when I said the next thing that I could barely hear myself. "It wasn't just a dream Liam, It was a warning. I know it was" I told him still shaking. "He looked at me straight in my eyes with him crystal blue ones that I could see even in the dark. "We'll figure this out in the morning baby girl. Okay?" He said with all seriousness. "Okay" I replied. (( HEHE TFIOS QUOTE xD )) I slowly fell asleep thinking about my dream and what it meant. "Oh well" I thought to myself. "I'll figure it out in the morning with Liam I guess" So I slowly faded back to sleep, hoping that I wouldn't have any more dreams tonight. When I woke up, the sunlight was shining through to window right into my eyes. I groaned turning to face the other way. I sighed as I pushed myself up off the bed, and swung my legs over the side. As I was yawning, I remembered my dream that I had last night. I shivered if fear and stood up to go to the bathroom. I washed my face and took my pills. I looked at myself in the mirror. "What am I going to do with this hair?" I asked myself. I picked up my brush and thoughtfully brushed and parted it. Once I was done it looked half decent. It was long and strait, with a little bit of wave. Still the same brown hair that that I've had my whole life. I put down the brush, and walked into my closet. I changed from my t-shirt and shorts into leggings and a halter top. I slipped on some socks and then a long tan colored sweater. I rubbed my eyes, and put my pajamas in the hamper. Just then my stomach grumbled. I decided I should go downstairs and get something to eat. As I walked down the steps I heard yelling from the kitchen. I walked die. the hallway to the kitchen, and saw a young boy fighting with an even younger girl. "Excuse me?" I asked quietly. "Oh, Luna did we wake you?" the boy asked. "I'm so sorry Luna. Are you ok?" The girl questioned. I giggled slightly before replying, "No. You didn't wake me, and please call me Hazelle. I'm not even the Luna yet" The boy sighed in relief. "Who are you two?" I questioned. "Kylie, I'm 16" the girl smiled. " I'm Zach" The boy nodded. "We're brother and sister" Kylie added. "Well it's nice to meet you" I told them. "We should hang out sometime" I smiled at Kylie. The look on her face was pure joy. "Ok Luna! I mean ...Hazelle" She smiled from ear to ear. I smiled and with a nod I walked into the kitchen grabbed a granola bar and went into the living room. As I sat down eating my breakfast I started to wonder where Liam was. I started walking around the pack house looking for him.

After a while of looking I thought he might be in his office next to the Alph's office. I slowly opened the door and peeked in. "Liam" I called as I peered around. Since it seemed that no one was in the room, I stepped in and walked over to his desk. On it, there was a note that read, "Hey baby girl, I see you finally woke up. Well guess what? Today your'e going on a treasure hunt. That's right the treasure is me. Have fun finding me ; ) I love you. xxx Liam. You're first clue will be outside, look out the window" I smiled and put the note down. "This will be fun" I think to myself. I look out the window down to the ground. At the bottom there was two prices of paper. One was folded up small and the other, was a big price of paper that said "Jump." It was only two floors up so I should easily be able to land safely on my feet. I opened the window and felt the cool air on my face I took one last breath before I jumped.
