POV Jessica Frost

It had been one week now. One week of being alone. The horse that I stole from Tamerin was a lazy horse, I don't think I could have picked a worse one. He was black, big and he was well built. I named him Kevin. Kevin the horse. I'm halfway between Tamerin and Saska. Saska is large city on the Blood sea. The Saskians named it that because people always go missing at in that sea and it is said that in the early hours of the morning if you go out you will see that the sea has a red tinge. But that's just a myth. Kevin the horse was just trotting along at his own leisure. There was no way to hurry him he was so lazy. Up ahead I could hear a stream so I pulled Kevin in the direction of the sound. When we got there, much to my disappointment, there were two men there just setting up camp and they looked at me as I entered. I looked up at the sky and it was rapidly darkening. I would have to camp here. "Hello do you mind if I share the camp?" I probably sounded a little unfriendly but I couldn't care less. They both looked at each other and one of them replied "sure thing, I'm Jack and this is Peter" he said gesturing to the other man. I didn't want to start a conversation so I just nodded my head and said "I'm Jess" they nodded in response and went back to doing what they were doing before. So I rode over to the river bank and hopped of Kevin and tied him to a nearby tree so he could drink as I took off his saddle and my things along with it. As I set up camp I threw the stuff I didn't need to the side and started to build a fire and roll out my bed roll. There wasn't much fire wood so I decided to go and get some. The men didn't look as if they we're going to be able to leave in a hurry so they shouldn't steal my stuff. I walked out of the campsite collecting wood as I went as well as keeping an ear out for any animals. I froze when I hear a twig snap. I quickly crouched down and pulled an arrow out if my quiver. I sat there silently for a short while then I saw a large rabbit. I drew my bow and took aim. I fired and got the rabbit right in the eye. Perfect. I went over to collect my kill then picked up my pile of sticks and walked back to camp happy with my dinner. When I returned I saw the man named Peter inspecting my two handed sword. He dropped it when he saw me. "I-I'm sorry I just wanted to look at it I wasn't going to take it or anything I swear" he stammered on so I put up my hand and said "I'm sure you had good intentions but please refrain from touching my stuff" he took a deep breath and looked unsure I himself then he blurted out "why would you have a sword like that?" Jack gave him a bit of a glare but Peter didn't notice. I walked towards him and pulled a knife from my boot and stood there holding it for a few seconds. Peter started to sweat and jack stood up. So I bent down and started to gut and skin my rabbit. Peter looked like he was going to pass out and jack took a big breath. I giggled to myself quietly, I love playing with people like that.
