Sienna Hart moved to Hawkins the same week Max did. Their parents met through work, and before either girl even started school, Sienna and Max clicked instantly—two new kids who didn't want to feel alone in a strange new town. Sienna is known for her bold personality: quick to speak her mind, competitive, and always ready to jump into a challenge even if she doesn't totally understand what's going on. She loves putting together cool outfits, experimenting with makeup, and showing up to every hangout looking like she planned the look days in advance—even when she didn't.
When Mike tells her about the Upside Down and everything the group has been dealing with, she doesn't believe him at first. But as things in this town gets weirder, she decides she'd rather know the truth than pretend Hawkins is normal. She's still new to the monster stuff, but she's trying hard to understand and stay brave for her friends.
She develops a quiet crush on Mike, but she's completely respectful about it—she knows he's with Eleven and never tries to get in the way. She just keeps her feelings to herself and focuses on being a good friend.
Sienna Hart stood in front of her bedroom mirror, the soundtrack from The Karate Kid blasting from her cassette player while she added the final swipe of eyeliner. She wasn't nervous—Sienna Hart didn't get nervous—but she definitely wanted to look good today. Not to impress anyone in particular. Just... the group. All of them. The whole squad. Nothing more. Definitely not Mike. Nope.
She checked her outfit one last time: a fitted pastel denim jacket, a striped tank top underneath, high-waisted shorts, and her favorite pair of worn-in sneakers. She added a stack of bright bracelets and shook out her hair so it fell just right. Not too forced. Not too flat. She liked having fun with style, and summer in Hawkins gave her every excuse to do it.
Max had already called twice, impatient and dramatic as ever.
Sienna grabbed her backpack—heavily decorated with pins she'd collected since moving to Hawkins—and hurried downstairs.

Max and Sienna leaned against the railing on the outside of the Starcourt Mall, sharing a drink and people-watching while the boys paced dramatically in front of them.
Lucas kept checking his watch. Will kept peeking at the movie showtime like it might magically change if he stared long enough.
"Where is he?" Lucas groaned.
"He said he'd be on time," Will added, already sounding defeated.
Sienna twirled her straw. "Translation: he's with El, which means time doesn't exist to him anymore."
Max snorted. "Honestly, I'm shocked he remembers how to walk without her."
Sienna smirked but kept her expression calm as she said, "Hey, as long as he shows up before the movie ends, it's fine."
