Madeline's tale:

Her tale starts with the USS Constitution arriving to Roscoff to save the diplomat Crawford. Along the way, Madeline bullied her teammates as she healed them, which caused them to have a growing hatred for her, except for a priest, who was brought as emotional support. At the gate where the church stood, a zombie blocked the way as it groaned. The soldiers were ready to kill it, yet, Madeline killed it first before taking the note.

As the soldiers left, she looked at the zombie and recognized it as Jean, from the newspaper. Feeling bad that he doesn't have a proper burial, she brought the dead body to a place to bury him. Suddenly, the dead body moved and bit her right wrist, forcing her to slice the head off. She then told the priest to help her with the burial, along with purifying his soul. The priest then helped her with what she asked. The two soon went to their group quickly in order to not get left behind. After entering the church, the French soldier told them about Crawford's location, but before he could finish, an infantry stabbed him. Madeline looked at his eyes, which reminded her of her youngest cousin. She shook her head and entered into the church.

Fast forward, and hey they got Crawford, except the team left him with Madeline, who is angry that they left the diplomat. The priest accompanied them for safety. They wandered around Roscoff and they realised, they're lost. The priest then noticed her disguise and reminded her that she will be executed if the diplomat found out, but he will keep it a secret. The three looked for a way until Madeline found a shortcut to a horde of zombies in front, yet they seem to be looking behind. Turns out, the zombies were attacking their army. Madeline swept the zombies away with her sabre while the priest protected the diplomat from any coming zombies. Along with their army's strength, they managed to get on the ship and sailed away from Roscoff. The soldiers congratulated Madeline for saving their priest and diplomat, then celebrated.

Madeline went outside, and checked her bandaged wound on the right wrist. It's getting worst, and her skin is starting to grey. Suddenly, she started to get hallucinations to attack her teammates, forcing her to use her sabre. She was about to stab herself, when the priest stopped her. With tears in his eyes, he told her that he had been looking at her ever since she arrived to America. He also told her that she was so fair to everyone, and he was grateful to have her here. He laid her down and said his sad prayers before he gave her his mercy. Before she closed her eyes, she saw the soul of Jean saying 'Thank you' to her before disappearing with someone else.

At the gates to heaven, the angel asked her about why did she joined the army, even if she was a girl. She felt guilty about it, but, the angel opened the gates, as it said that she was fair to everyone. She is now in heaven, looking down at her brother, Thomas.

Bartholomew's tale and journey:

Bartholomew lived under the sky city, being the slums, ever since he lost his parents. He had been independent, always waking up every weekday to journey up the city for school. He was the odd one out of every student, refusing to use the devices needed to learn, only liking books in his hands. The city relied on the student's intelligence in order to make a weapon out of an old disease, AKA The Blight. Unfortunately, those who fell into the Blight were thrown into the slums. Bartholomew was not disturbed by this as he can defend himself.

One day, while studying for a test at home, Bartholomew thought of something about his house. There was an elevator in his house, yet he never used it. Out of curiousity, he decided to check it out. Despite the elevator being old and dingy, it surprisingly worked and brought Bartholomew down to a new place. The new place is... a library, but not just any library, it's a library filled with every soldiers' story from every era. Bartholomew was amazed by the library's contents, and promised himself to take care of this with all his will. He soon ventured into the library, looking at some books, until he arrived to the land of the Blight's history and it's survivors. He opened one of the books, which is about Father Alex. The contents explained his birth details, life before the Blight, and everything else during the Blight.

Bartholomew observed for a while, before realising something. He has heard of Father Alex from his parents, his parents have told him stories about Father Alex's tale and other form. It was all coming back to him...

  Father Alex was his ancestor...

From then on, Bartholomew took care of the library in his free time. He would look at the tale of other soldiers, either from this world, or other universes. Sometimes, he could feel eyes watching him, yet, he believed that it must be his mind. Little did he know, his ancestor was watching him, as a promise from his parents.

( Father Alex, Madeline and Thomas, along with Charles, are cousins.
Oldest is Father Alex.

Yeah, that's all of their lore.
Feel free to ask questions about them.
