The Knight And The Prince -Jegulus

Today it is not raining, but it is gloomy outside. It is a Friday, and Regulus has been acting a little weird. He hasn't been able to relax, and he has just been acting differently.

Regulus' pov.

What if he thinks I'm weird?

 What if he hates me once he finds out? 

What if he- .. 

He'll probably just end up never speaking to me after I tell him. 

I'm a literal mess. 

I'm unlovable, no one will end up loving me when they find out I wasn't born a male.. 

But I have to tell him for I don't have this weight on me. 

But what if he ends up leaving?..

 Everyone leaves eventually though.. 

 I'm scared.. 

He'll probably think I'm weird.. 

But I have to tell him. I have to.

Third person.

"James..?" Regulus says, as he's very nervous.

"Yes, hermoso?" James replies, slightly worried on why Regulus is acting differently.

"There's um.. Something I wanna tell you." Regulus says, as he's kinda shaking.

"Alright, but.. Hey, you alright?" James asks, as he puts his hand on Regulus' thigh to stop it from shaking.

"Mhm.. there's just um.. Something I wanna tell you." Regulus says, as his voice cuts out.

"Alright, my love. Tell me anything." James replies, as he still has his hand on Regulus' thigh.

"So, uh.. I understand if like you don't wanna talk to me after this, or even look at me.. But-"

"Hey, amor, no matter what you say, I will still talk to you no matter what, alright?" James says, as he's trying to calm Regulus down a bit.

"Okay, so, um. I'm trans.. I was actually born a girl, and I um.. Understand if you don't want to-" Regulus says, as he looks down, before he gets cut off.

"Hey, hey, amor. That's okay, that's really cool. And I will still talk to you, alright? Nothing has changed." James says, as he gives Regulus a comforting smile.

Regulus is still looking down, as he just slightly smiles. "..Really?"

"Yes, really. Now, look at me, baby." James says, as he just lifts Regulus' chin up so he can look at him.

"I wouldn't even care if you were a talking cat. And it's really cool." James says, as he smiles.

Regulus slightly smiles again.

"So you're not like.. Disgusted or anything?" Regulus asks, as he doesn't even try to hide his smiles.

"No, amor, I would never be."

Regulus smiles more.

"You wanna do something today though?" James asks, as he also smiles.

"Well 'Wicked: For Good' came out today, and I kinda wanna watch it.. But then I also wanna go to the cafe to see if my brother is there again." Regulus replies.

"Alright, hermoso, we can do both, okay?"

"Okay," Regulus says as he smiles, and as his eyes have a little sparkle.
