When you're old and you're grey,
I hope that you'll say
that I was a loyal friend
who helped you stand tall
through tribulations all
and stood by you until the end.When you're forty and scared,
I hope you'll have dared
to never let a day slip past.
Don't wait 'till you're nearly dead
to remember what I said;
don't let your best day be your last.When you're twenty and young,
your song's not yet been sung,
so go on now and live.
The world's in your hand,
the glass is full of sand,
and you have so much to give.You're 19 now,
and so with a bow,
from my heart I want to say,
Happy Birthday.
