"Winds from the east tell the tale of a possible drought after this, sir. The clouds appear to be gathering unusually at the top of Firmament," the scout reported.
"Ha. It's not a normal storm," he sighed, then turned to the young man.
"Are we certain this is true?"Yuhue kept his gaze to the floor, still kneeling before the General.
"Yes, General. The letter comes from one of our scouts stationed. The runner delivering it traveled here through the night just to get it here so fast."
Jiyan nodded dimly, rereading the contents as if to check he wasn't making things up in his mind-but no, every letter was where it should be.
The letter wasn't particularly long either, written clearly in a hurry, judging by some rushed brushstrokes and the ends scrunched distastefully.
