Hi, thank u so much for picking this up. Before we get into this, I want to point out some things, and what to expect out of this fic. <3
This fanfic will only loosely follow the events of death note, and the main focus is on the characters and their relationships with one another. Whether it's romantic or platonic.
In order for it to make sense I rearranged some events, or even removed them completely. Same goes for characters. Some of them don't have a lot of material to go off of; still, I will try my best to keep them in character.
Expect a shit ton of young adult angst, complicated relationships, trauma, and actions related to these things! Keep in mind these characters went through a lot and it WILL show in their actions.
Brief love triangle when I say brief I mean it. Both romantic interests tagged will have their time to shine, however, there's one endgame couple.
Lastly, this is a slow burn, painfully slow. Long-ish chapters be prepared to lock in! Everything is intentional, please let me cook 😭
