Chapter 1
"PARTY!"
Everyone yelled.
Today was the day I graduated from eighth grade. Now I was going to Holey Holers High school!
"Karen!" my older brother whose going into his junior year of high school yelled.
"Ya!" I yelled back.
"Mom, Dad, and I are leaving now, Marissa's mom is going to pick you up from Katelyn's house then you can sleep over there."

During the party at Katelyn's house
I told Amber not drink to much alcohol but there she goes again.
"Amber stop drinking you haven't even started high school!"
"I can drink when I want to, I can do whatever I want to so leave me alone!"
"whatever" I murmured. I called Marissa on her cell she didn't want too come and party with us. She never wanted to do anything since her dad died I don't blame her. If my dad died I wouldn't want to do anything either.
"Marissa? Yah its me
nope I'll just walk to your house it like 3 blocks away
okay
I'll talk to you later
Bye" I grabbed my bag and opened the front door.
I walked out into the cool summer air the moon was high up in the sky.
I got this funny feeling someone was watching me.
I slung my bag over my bag and dashed to Marissa's house.
I heard a car start.
Oh my god.
I ran even faster than before.
I heard the car speed up.
I turned on to Marissa's street and past the first house.
I turned into the second house's driveway and ran up to her door. My dress was all worn out from dancing and everything.

My black and brown hair was probably all ruined.
I rang on the doorbell quickly
As soon as I rang Marissa opened the door.
I ran in and shut the door as quickly as possible.
I was out off breath and breathing hard.
"Karen, why does it look like you ran a mile?"
"um, I was coming here then I heard a car start," deep breath
"then it started following me, I ran faster. The car went faster. And yah" I took another deep breath.
"wow" whispered Marissa.
"um I'm going to have a bath and change .and then we will talk."
"ok" I grabbed my bag and brought it upstairs. Me and Marissa have known each other since we were born. I was born on the same day as her one minute apart, and the room beside her mom's room, was where my mom gave birth to me.
I walked into Marissa's room I grabbed my towel and undergarments.(I practically live in this house, I have my own bed here)I made my way to the bathroom. As I was making my way to the bathroom. Marissa's brother who's as hold as my brother stepped out of the bathroom. Today was the first day I actually realized how good looking and gorgeous he was.
He had wet dark brown hair and green eyes high cheekbones and plump limps, he was only wearing a towel that was wrapped
Around his waist. He had a built chest, 6 pack and a gorgeous
Light tan.
"um sorry " I said as I looked down blushing.
"um no problem." He said back with a sexy voice. I looked up
and Matthew's head was cocked up to one side as he stared
at my figure. I wasn't fat I wasn't super skinny I was in between,
I had bronze skin, my dad is Indian and my mom is Italian and German, my eye colour is a little strange, its dark brown with a
Tint of orange, my lips are Angelina Jolie lips and my black and dark brown hair is really curly and wavy, it goes past my shoulders.
I cleared my throat to bring Matthew back into the real world
Again.
"um sorry" replied Matthew. He walked past me. I slowly made my way into the bathroom. I shut the door and stripped of my clothes. I got the water steamy hot and stepped in. I grabbed my
vanilla smelling shower gel and rubbed it against my body.
The scent was very soothing. I washed it off then I rubbed in vanilla and jasmin smelling shampoo and conditioner.
When I finished, I turned off the water and stepped out.
I dried my body, and creamed my self. I put on my undergarments and slipped on my tank top and shorts.

I brushed my wet hair and let it out to dry.
I gabbed my clothes and towel.
I left the bathroom, and my way to Marissa's room.
I opened the door and Marissa was on her laptop eating ice cream. She looked up and pointed to her dresser.
There was another bowl of ice cream for me.
"um Marissa are you ok?"
"ya I was just looking at some scary movies we can rent to watch."
"sweet" Marissa and I choose to watch "the eye" with Jessica alba.
We got Matthew to drive us there he already got his license.
Me and Marissa both went in our night suits. (this is what Marissa was wearing)

Matthew was wearing basketball shorts and a tight blue shirt.
We arrived at a 24 hour blockbuster and went inside.
I was wearing flip flops and so was Marissa and Matthew.
I asked the young employee who was obviously undressing me with his eyes, where the movie "the eye" was. He showed It to me
, he turned around and started flirting with me. He wasn't bad looking, he actually looked pretty hot. So I talked back.
Marissa called me and told me we were leaving.
The boy who's name was Tony, gave me his number.
I turned around and caught Matthew glaring at Tony.
Wat?
Maybe he is just looking out for me.
He would never like me would he?
