THE ORIGINAL VIPER 1-1 ON STANDBY novel is something I will forever hold dear in my heart. It marked a point in my life where I began to read more and aspire to emulate the skills of the late and revered Tom Clancy, who, without his contribution of the Jack Ryan series, I, and most likely many other people, might never have wrote our own stories.
In 2023, I created a personal Author's Edition of Viper 1-1 On Standby as a private project meant to refine the story for myself, to see how far I had come as both a writer and an individual person. That edition was never intended for public release. But over time, I realized the growth and insight I'd gained through that process deserved to be shared.
Now, this 2025 Revised Author's Edition of Viper 1-1 On Standby is fully publicized and revamped for other authors and readers to learn what I did and why I did it. Each chapter will conclude with short explanatory snippets of why I created the chapter and what it meant to me when I was younger and then I will explain the same from my perspective now. Along with this, short comparisons will also take place, showing my growth and refinement as a writer over the years. Along with these two, I have placed small notes from during the remastering process to assist those interested in my writing process.
This edition of Viper 1-1 On Standby was inspired by fellow writers @PyroPyra, , @Phase04, @KvnN8ionArmy , and many others. Make sure to give their books time of day, as they are undoubtedly levels above me in skill.
