In a school from St Joseph you can observe a room that full of laughter, noises, loud snoring but when you look carefully at the very side of the room a person who are ready to confess.
Elion was cleaning the blackboard and Maxxian was packing his things.
"Hey, Eli, I... I just wanna talk to you something important" He approaches Elion.
"Huh?, what is it?"
"You know, when I first saw you, I always see you as different "
"Different? Like what?, because I'm not rich as you?"
"No, no, I--I just-- "
"Enough, I have lot things to do"
Maxxian sigh as he look at Elion
"You know Eli, you don't have to stay late in school "
"I can't, I have to do school chores to have a discount in my tuition "
"Ok, so after your done can we talk?"
"Oum "
Two boys in one room, in an empty halls and in a numbing silence. After 30 minutes of waiting finally Elion is done, and Maxxian can finally talk to him.
"So, what are the things you wanna talk about ?"
"Um, Ah... Eli I-I know that you also know how religious my family is. But... Eli I-I like you. From the moment I saw you climbing the school wall, just to go in your partime job. Im already captivated by it. And that was makes you different"
Eli was shock of Maxxian sudden confession.
"Max, you know that it is considered as a "sin" right? Loving or liking someone that have a same gender as you is considered a sin, Maxxian. And also your family as you said and as what I know is religious---our social status of my life?... Max, were so so so different from each other----youre rich, Im just nothing"
"But---"
"I--I have to go. Goodbye"
And then he left him, he didn't let him finish. But Elion knows how sincere Maxxian was. But they just cant be together.
The next day, it was a class day. Elion and Maxxian are now in the class.
"Class, remember love is not about who you're "supposed" to love. It's about respect, kindness and being true to yourself. That even it is considered as a sin and disgrace, when that little heart of yours pump in someone even a religion or your social status can't stop it. Faith should bring people together, not tear them apart"
Teacher Mia discusses.
Then it hits, for both of them Elion and Maxxian that simple phrases hits hards, Especially in Elions side and that very moment he realize something.
"Max, Can we talk?"
Max was surprised in Elion's sudden approach.
"S-sure"
"Max... I'm sorry for leaving you yesterday. I was actually surprised at your sudden confession. I--I also like you---so much, from the moment you saw me climbing that wall. I like you desperately, Im just afraid that if we're both click and them the worlds started hating us, that maybe people will never look at us the same just because of this. And also I'm afraid that the world, religion and people won't accept us. But I just like you so much "
"Eli, I don't care if you came from a different background or others think our relationship is wrong. I don't care if the world won't accept, I don't care El, even if it's my own family"
"Then we'll face it together"
Sometimes, courage is not about fighting a battle, it's about standing beside someone when the world tells you not to. And that is also same in Love---it is about standing up to someone even the world are against in both of you. Love can't be stop especially when that person holds your whole world. Religion may see it as a 'sin' or Social status see it as a 'disgrace'. It doesn't stop them form loving each other.
Hello everyone, I know that the names i used for my character is seems familiar, actually i used the names of the series i read which is the story of miss kjeandvcki, I like her story so much that's why i made my own version of love story of Elion and Maxxian. They're supposed to be together sana kung di lang sila nag ka bi awakening kaya ayun nagawan ko na and btw this is my project pala in oral communication, about kasi dialogue yung project namin kaya sila ang naisip kong gawing characters. And also sorry and bear with it poor writing skills that's all thankiessss>.<
