-Liara's P.O.V.-
"Get up! We're going to be late!" The screaming was worse than an alarm clock.
I rolled onto my side with a grunt and buried my head beneath the duvet. Charlotte finally climbed onto the bed and sat on top of me. We had been planning this trip for months. Charlotte, my best friend, has been itching to visit Seoul for her birthday. Any average individual would now be thrilled to see a new city as a vacation from the dull old UK. not me, though. Not when she wanted to stay for a whole damn month. Charlotte invited her boyfriend Noah, our friends Amy and Emma, and their partners Rogan and Sam because we could only make this vacation happen with numbers. By the grace of God, we managed to get the money together to afford the hotel and still have spending money. Thankfully for us girl, we opened up a very successful salon once we finished college, so that helped.
Now, it wasn't the time or the money that made me hesitant about this trip...Being a 7th wheel is not something I am excited about. Also the fact that I hate planes!
"Everyone's here now; move your ass!" She demanded.
"How can I move when you're sitting on top of me?" I peeked up from the duvet, staring at her now puzzled face.
"Oh yeah, sorry," she giggled and quickly got off of me. "You've got ten minutes; if not, I'm coming back in here and dragging you out," I huffed in response.
I looked up at the ceiling, chewing on my bottom lip. The same everyday thoughts haunting my mind. With a sigh, I threw back the duvet and got up, gathering my clothes that had already been placed neatly onto my chair before making my way into the bathroom. As I undressed, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I looked back at the reflection, focusing on my left hip. The feeling of disgust began to creep up on me but I quickly shook it away and hopped into the shower.

I dragged my suitcase into the hallway, standing it next to the others. I quickly checked my bag, making sure I had my passport and other essentials with me.
"Everybody ready for this long ass flight?" Amy asked the room.
"I'm so excited!" Charlotte sang, clapping her hands and jumping up and down.
"Really, we would've never guessed" Emma sarcastically said rolling her eyes, earning a small snicker from me and Amy.
"Hey Liara, who's watching this pest?" I heard Noah ask. I gasped and marched over to him, flicking him in his forehead before bending down to pick up my one joy in life.
"Simba is not a pest! And my mother is having him, she should be here any minute to pick him up" I stroked underneath my cat's chin and turned him to me. "Isn't she my little prince"
"You need a boyfriend woman!" Rogan muttered.
"I really don't!" I said, a little harsher than I intended. Rogan put his hands up in defence, Amy grabbed a hold of his hand and frowned.
"You never know, she may find herself and nice little Korean boyfriend whilst we are over there" Sam joked, wrapping his arm around Emma.
"No thank you I'm good" I fired back, placing small kisses on Simba's head. Before anyone could say anything else, a text notification came through on my phone. I quickly placed Simba onto the floor and dug my phone out of my bag.
"She's outside, are we ready?" I asked the group, all of them nodding and grabbing ahold of their cases.
"KOREA!!" Charlotte screamed as she exited our apartment.

Although it wasn't an easy process, they were able to get me aboard the plane. I had to commend them. I've refused to even look at one, much less get on one, since I was a kid. Fortunately, I was seated with Charlotte and Noah; I chose the seat closest to the aisle. With unsteady hands, I buckled my seatbelt and leaned my head back, attempting to maintain steady, controlled breathing. I quickly glanced about at the plane's occupied seats; everyone else appeared to be perfectly at ease.
"Hey" I turned to Charlotte after feeling a hand grab mine. "I understand that you hate this and I know that the past year and a half has been difficult for you, and that this is the last thing you want to do right now but I'm grateful you came, I don't think I could've enjoyed my time in Seoul if you weren't there"
"You're welcome" I gave a small smile which she returned before settling back into her seat, her hand still holding mine. I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat. This better be worth it.
