Chapter 1: Gunshot

At ship

Sound of gunshots....

What the hell ,Stella? What are you doing here? You are not supposed to be here. Jack, cover for her. It's dangerous here. Who even told her that I am here? Suddenly the gunshot stops. I was moving forward, someone just kicked me, and my gun fell on the ground. Who is she? She is wearing a mask, holding a knife in her hand. Her eyes remind me of Angel. Suddenly, she targets it at me. But I guess I am not the target, it hit someone behind me. 

Flashback

Wow, you are excellent at it. I mean your targets are always so precise. Why don't you think of it as a career? Me, a basketball player, you an archer, perfect duo. What say? I am not sure yet. 'Let's see what the future holds for me', she responded.

Hi, Antonio, I and Angel both turned around. Hi Stella. What are you doing here? Miss me already? A playful smirk on her face. Is she flirting with me? Fuck, no way. Angel is still beside me. What will she think of me? Hell no. 

End of flashback

Suddenly, I heard a gunshot. Hell no, I picked up my gun and went there. Someone is pointing a gun at Stella. I covered the distance in three long strides and pushed Stella away. She screamed my name. I got bullets on my left arm. Jack ran towards me immediately. It's bleeding, fuck, he shouted. We need backup. Suddenly we heard more gunshots. Sky appeared from nowhere, he was wounded too. There was someone behind him, and my vision started to get blurred. 

At Hospital

Beep.. Beep...

I wake up by the sound of beep beep, everyone was there. Jack, Stella, Ellen, and Raven. What were you doing there, Stella? How many times do I have to tell you not to involve yourself in my matters?

She sighs, I was worried about you. I am your fucking girlfriend, Antonio. I know that you are my girlfriend, it's just that I can't lose anyone else. 

Suddenly, the door opens and Angel enters. I was shocked to see her. My blood boiled after seeing her. What the hell are you doing here? I shouted.' Hi, I am Angel Taylor, your doctor. And this is a hospital so stop shouting', she responded. Everyone was looking at us. Seriously, you are acting as if you are saving the lives of people. She looked straight into my eyes without any guilt. Your vitals are normal, we will monitor you for two days. After that you will be discharged. Thanks, Angel. Jack responded. She just nodded in response and left.

I was looking at the door, thinking, how can she still affect me even after ten years? I wonder how I can still feel the same for her even when I know she is the reason for everything. Stella snapped her fingers in front of me, gaining my attention. Your dad wants to talk to you. He doesn't know about your accident. I nodded in response.

After two days

She enters the room and asks me how I am feeling. How should I feel? I responded. She was about to leave. Before my brain thought, my hands responded, holding her wrist. I asked her, it was you holding the knife who saved me that day? She was looking straight into my eyes and didn't say anything.

She was about to say something but the door opened, and Stella entered, followed by Jack, Ellen, and Raven. I immediately left her wrist, and she left the room.

Raven, have you found out who was behind the attack and what Sky was doing there? One of your business rivals planned that attack. Sky and Ren were there to help us as backup. What the hell. No way. Yes way, Raven said. Your birthday is soon, and they are also invited for the party. Your dad has invited them. You will be declared as the CEO of the William enterprises on your twenty-sixth birthday.' I am so excited for your birthday babe, Stella said'.

At home

It's been two days, he is still not awake. I removed his bullets. Are you sure you are ready for this? Sky asked me. You still love him, don't you? He said.  'He has a girlfriend', I responded.

Ren said.

At hospital

It's time for his discharge, let me visit him. Let me see him one last time as the love of my life. I entered his room.
