Beyond the Stars of Archadia

Terra Incognita

A stage is set at Archadia Oaks High School, and a young girl with blond hair walks out onto the stage and approaches the microphone.

"Hi"

Feedback rings, and the girl takes a step back, clearly nervous. She clears her throat and starts again.

"Hi. My name is Aja Tarron of House Tarron. And I want to tell you a story. It's a good story. It is very lively, with lots of humor and excitement. It begins in some place very, very, very far away from here, on an entirely different planet called Akridion-5.

The girl blinks, and her eyes glow teal. They are very mechanical-looking with black sclera. Those eyes stay as the story starts to show a girl with a similar hairstyle and eyes that glow teal. She is running through what looks like a city square. She is chasing after a dog of sorts, at least it's similar to a dog.

"Luug, come back here right now!"

Luug this purple, pink, and blue alien keeps running from the girl. The Girl who is teal blue and energy looking with four arms and mechanical eyes keeps running after him. Jumping over cars and pedestrians in her way.

"You know, Luug, you are ruining a perfectly lively day."

The dog seems to stop in front of a group of soldiers. The girl sees this and can't stop in time.

"And where do you think you are going, young lady?"

"I was just umm..."

"Aja, come back here."

"Papa, come on, please, just say that you lost me. I really don't want."

"Aja, please, you are the first in the line of Tarron. This is your day, and as much as you want to pretend you are not a royal, you are. Now come along, your coronation starts soon."

Aja had just grown as she and her Papa started to walk back to the one place she did not want to be.

It's Coronation Day on Akiridion-5. At this massive stadium, the king and queen stand and wave to the audience. They are surrounded by many soldiers and guards.

"Smile and wave. Smile and wave."

"You were lucky I could find her. This is her ceremony, you know."

"You know your daughter. Aja's spirited."

An advisor walks up to the king and queen.

"Your Majesties."

"Is she ready?"

"In a manner of speaking."

"So, speak."

"Well, since her runaway attempt, we were slightly delayed. But she should be with her brother here shortly."

Aja is in the palace, where she walks up to Krel, who is messing with a device. Pieces are floating around him. He is using his hand to move things around. Aja came up behind him. There was a noticeable difference between the two siblings. Aja had four arms just like her parents, while Krel only had two.

"You're late."

"Sorry, Luug."

"Don't Luug me. You're lucky mama and papa didn't stomp you. So, who found you this time?"

"We both know that I don't want to be queen-in-waiting."

"So you thought you would run away again, clever. You're lucky you didn't miss the ceremony."

"Why do you care you don't have to be King-in-waiting. It's so unfair."

"Unfair how?"

The king said as he walked towards his two children.
