The Pirate's Curse

Captured

   I was alone. My parents were out for there anniversary, and I am an only child. It was around 10:00 when I decided to go to bed. Whenever my parents are gone I choose to sleep in the window seat  in case anything is to happen.

   I finally found rest. it took a while, but in the end I fell asleep. I then had a dream where I was running in a field of flowers. I kept running around picking the flowers as I went, then out of no where it started to rain. My light brown hair started to droop and stick to the sides of my face. I was able to hear the slight pitter patter of the rain. It then became more audible. Instead of sounding like rain it started to sound like a plastic bag. I realized that this wasn't a dream anymore.

   I  immediately opened my eyes wide enough so I could see. I saw a older man and a boy, but before I could point out specific details I was hit with something I was then unconscious. That was the last thing I was able to remember of that night.

   When I woke up I seemed to be on a ginormous boat. I looked behind me then in front of me. I noticed a boy a little bit older then me making his way toward me. I sat up slowly becoming fully aware of the giant headache I had. By the time I had sat up as straight as I could the boy and I were looking face to face.

   He looked at a man behind him and then back to me. He gave me a crocked smile before he said, "She's up sir." The man then started to make his way over to us. He had a thick black beard that covered the entirety of his lower face, and long black hair to go along with it. He was wearing a hat that reminded me of a captain.

   The man looked at me sitting on the floor. He had a kind smile, but I was able to see the wickedness in his eyes. He turned to the boy and whispered something into his ear.  Then he walked away. The boy then extended a hand to me. He then spoke. "I am Jonathan, the first mate, and that man was Captain Conner Black. You will be meeting him for breakfast. Lastly, welcome to the S.S. Bloody Bones."
