Nobody's POV

Kaia stirred first, the early light bleeding in through the thin curtains. Her lashes fluttered open to find herself wrapped in warmth, limbs tangled in Leah’s. Bare skin against bare skin. She inhaled softly, catching the faint scent of Leah that lingered on the sheets and on her.
Leah shifted in her sleep, instinctively pulling Kaia impossibly closer until their bodies were pressed fully together, chest to chest, leg hooked over leg. A low hum slipped from her throat as she buried her face into Kaia’s hair.
“Morning,” Leah mumbled, voice still rough with sleep. She pressed a lazy kiss to the crown of Kaia’s head before her eyes blinked open.
For a moment, she just looked at Kaia, her mouth tugging into the kind of smile that was all memory, all softness. The night before replayed itself behind her eyes—
Kaia stood awkwardly just inside the door, her breath shallow as Leah waited, expectant but quiet. Then, before she could think herself out of it, Kaia stepped forward until there was barely an inch left between them. Her hand lifted, hesitating for half a heartbeat, before she leaned up and pulled Leah down into a kiss.
Leah responded instantly, fiercely, her lips crashing into Kaia’s with a hunger that sent a shiver through them both. She pushed Kaia back, stumbling together until Kaia’s spine hit the desk with a thud. The impact drew a sound from Kaia’s throat—sharp, unrestrained—that only drove Leah harder.
In one messy sweep, Leah shoved aside everything cluttering the desk and lifted Kaia onto it with ease. Kaia’s legs wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer, tighter, desperate to feel every inch of her.
Their kiss deepened, wild and consuming, tongues tangling as hands roamed freely—fingers twisted in hair, Leah’s palms gripping firmly at Kaia’s thighs, sliding to her hips, squeezing the curve of her bum. The touch made Kaia buck her hips instinctively, dragging a low growl from Leah.
Kaia teased her tongue along Leah’s lower lip, coaxing another sound from her—this one raw, heady—and when Kaia pressed further, tongue slipping into her mouth, Leah moaned louder, the sound vibrating through both of them.
Leah’s mouth left Kaia’s lips only to trail hot, desperate kisses down her neck. Kaia gasped, her head tipping back, the sound of Leah’s name falling from her lips in a breathless plea. “Leah…”
And then—barely above a whisper—Kaia added, “I told Steph.”
The words made Leah pause, her lips stalling against Kaia’s skin. She knew what Kaia meant, her chest tightening at the admission. But before Leah could form a reply, Kaia grabbed her jaw and pulled her back into the kiss, her hips grinding not-so-subtly against Leah’s front. The movement made Leah’s control unravel, a groan tearing from her chest as heat surged through her.
Kaia’s hands slid beneath Leah’s shirt, nails dragging along the smooth plane of her back. Leah shuddered, arching into the touch, until Kaia gripped the hem and tugged the shirt up and over her head. Leah wasted no time doing the same, peeling Kaia’s top away to reveal bare skin that made her dizzy with want.
Kaia didn’t give her space to think—her fingers hooked into Leah’s waistband, yanking her closer with a roughness that sent Leah spiraling. The little smirk tugging at Kaia’s lips only drove her madder.
One by one, clothes seemed to slip away, discarded without thought until they were left in nothing but their underwear. Leah barely broke their kiss as she hooked her arms under Kaia and lifted her effortlessly, carrying her toward the bed. She laid her down carefully, though the look in her eyes was anything but gentle—hungry, wild, undone.
