For Isagi Yoichi socializing had always been a problem, she didn't consider herself antisocial perse but she clearly had a lack of friends. It's not like she couldn't make friends, it was more that people liked to stay at an arm distance from her. They were more like acquaintances than friends. She didn't like people all that much either, she had pretty valid reasons if you ask her, so she didn't complain.

People had always criticized her for apparently no reason, they'd been a lot of rumors surrounding her, even tho she'd always made a point to stay out of drama. People have said she's just an ordinary girl, one time she heard someone calling her boring, she didn't even knew the guy which confused her, some other people have said that she was average and had no outstanding qualities about herself, which was funny because they still talked about her a lot considering that they didn't think of her as important.

Some people labeled her as a tomboy, making it sound like an insult, just because she liked football, GOD FORBID A GIRL HAS HOBBIES they even went as far as calling her a lesbian, all behind her back, never to her face, cowards, it wasn't that big of a deal, but it did make girls be more wary around her.

It didn't make sense AT ALL, they believed she was a lesbian but also because of her more "boyish" hobbies they also believed she was a pick me and wanted to appeal more to boys, PICK A SIDE, people are really dumb, in the end all her acquaintances were mostly boys, that she thought were stupid, which did nothing to help her case, but it's better than being alone, she guessed.

In the end all people sucked ass, so she decided very early on in life to put a friendly mask on her face, hoping she could live a peaceful life, even if it only was superficial.

Back in the Isagi residence, there was calmness in the air early in the morning. It was a Sunday, Iyo was cooking breakfast while Issei was doing coffee. A sleepy Yoichi entered the kitchen and greeted her parents with a hug each then sited herself. "Good morning Mom, Dad" she said while rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

"Good morning sweety, how did you sleep?" Iyo responded with a calm tone without taking her eyes of the food. Making light conversation they all ate their breakfast and started their day in a good mood.

After doing some rounds of laundry and respective chores around the house, it became around lunch time quickly. Isagi was in charge of putting the table together so her mother could serve lunch, the calm ambiance was interrupted suddenly by the sound of the doorbell.

"Yo my dear, could you go get the door please?" asked her mom while stirring whatever was that they were going to have for lunch. "Sure mom" she replied simply. Opening the door she came face to face with her uncle. "Uncle Jin? You're joining us fo lunch?" she asked while letting her uncle enter to the house. "Yes, Isn't it kinda obvious?" he said annoyed. Yoichi knew her eccentric uncle quite well, so she didn't take anything he said to heart.

Jinpachi Ego was her uncle on her mom's side, he was quite the eccentric man. He has been working managing a project called Blue Lock, to make the best striker in the world so Japan can win the World Cup. Pretty fitting if you asked Yoichi, he was obsessed with potential and football after all, he even tried to drag her into it when it started. He's also one of the reasons why Yoichi started to love the sport, she became pretty good at it if she says so herself. But the JFU didn't like the idea of including women in the project, bullshit he had said when they denied his niece the opportunity to participate in it, her parents weren't thrilled about the idea of their daughter surrounded by teenage boys and having to sleep in the same room as them for weeks either, so it was a big no either way, she was kinda bummed about it, but she could understand why she couldn't join.

Some days ago the match between the Japan U20 and Blue Lock was held, she went with her mom and dad to support Blue Lock. She was kinda surprised of how good they played, not that she didn't believe in her uncle's training but it's always different to see it first hand, it was a really entertaining match, and she knew all the people there were thinking the same, she was very proud of her uncle, not that she was going to say it to his face, he didn't need more ego bust, she knew the screams in the stadium and the defeated face of the president of the JFU were more than enough.

Now going to sit at the table, Isagi's dad helped his wife bringing the plates from the kitchen to the table.
"Ah, Jinpachi is good that you decided to join us for lunch" said Issei while putting a plate down. After some back and forth talk Iyo came from the kitchen with the last plates with food and sat down with everyone, they all said their prayers before starting to eat. They room was filled with light conversation and a calm familiarity in the air.
"So Jin, how is your work doing lately? Any other projects you're planning participating on?" Said Iyo calmly while refilling her glass with water. "I'm not planing on leaving this project anytime soon, after our victory I have more liberties and they raised the budget so I'm planning more things in this two weeks that I gave them off" he responded to his sister in a matter of factly tone before continuing "Also I wanted to talk to Yoichi about something related to that" that made the girl that was pretty much immersed in her food perk up from her plate. "Talk to me? About what?" She asked with curiousness in her voice. Her uncle in exchange looked at her directly in the eyes before asking.

"Isagi Yoichi would you be part of the next stage of Blue Lock?" With the seriousness he always portrayed. He had that manic glint in his eyes that made people question his sanity time and time again, it might as well be a family trait because the look his niece returned to him was a perfect copy if not a more deranged one of his own.
