It had been an average cold day for Guide. She sat down in the rain, letting it pour on her soft wings like bullets that you wouldn't fight back from. Guiding Light would wonder in her mind about theories of the world she watched over and observed with her friend, Curious Light, A yellow angel who seemed to be sarcastic mostly and would insult humans for doing a 'poor job.' Guiding Light looked up at the empty inky sky that would strike lightning somewhere far in the distance sometimes. A flutter of wings approached her, it was just Curious Light but it startled her a little. He waved at her, "hey Luna" Curious said casually like he wasn't calling her by a weirdly silly nickname. "Hey curi," Guiding Light responded. She folded her wings.

"How the red one doing?" Curi asked, "is he out eating humans again?" Guiding Light nodded, in reality she had no idea where he was, but most likely he was out trapping and eating humans like a psychopath. "I don't like the taste of humans. I don't see how he does." "He likes his own kind too" he reminded her. "Right, he's a cannibal." Guide curled up into a ball. Remembering stuff she had witnessed a long, long time ago. She was chained from head to toe in red chains that wounded her blue flesh as she fought against it. She was miserable. Then, she saw her friend's arm get torn off her and eaten like a human would eat a chicken wing, except, it was bloody flesh on solid bone. Guide shivered in fear at the memory.

"Don't remind me, Curi, of all the eating he has done," Guiding Light said in a stern tone. Curious Light nodded, understandingly. Who wouldn't be traumatized from seeing their friend's flesh get eaten off their bodies. Curious Light shivered a little too, but because of the cold that swarmed his warm body. "We should go inside the hotel," Curious said. Guiding Light nodded.

The hotel's lobby was surprisingly very welcome despite the insides just being complete sorrow and despair. The lights were a soft yellow plus there were some classic chandeliers on the ceiling. A few tables, a fire place, and some furniture were at the end of the lobby. The rest just being a ray of elevators all leading to the same place. Curious Light sighed and shook off the tiny droplets of rain on his beautiful golden wings, that Guiding Light totally didn't admire. Okay, maybe she liked the beauty of them a little. Guiding Light adjusted the hems of her cape. Curious Light sat on the soft fluff filled chairs like a slime. He never sat normally, it was his cliche. Guiding Light sat down on the chair next to him. Curious Light looked up at her. "What," he said, "don't judge me I'm comfy." Guiding Light laughed a little, "I wasn't judging you!" "Then why are you looking at me?" "Cause you look like one of those slimes that just melt in your hands once you touch them." "Albeit, it's probably true but you know that's just how I sit," Curi chuckled.
