CHAPTER EIGHT- Meeting The In-Laws

[Tiana's POV]

So, you guys wondering what happened to me and Roger after he Took my number.. Well he kept texting me, asking for us to meet up for coffee or something, but nigga can't take no for an answer.. So I finally said yes.. So we met up and we chatted.. Roger is very conceited, but very conversational.. He talks a lot but I enjoyed he's company.. We ended up going to the movies after coffee .. We watched the most boring french movie ever, so boring, we laughed during serious times.. I don't know if it was a date or what, but I wanted to get to see him more.. After that night, we started to text and call each other a lot more.. He finally asked me out, that day when Minnie had her Appointment.. I haven't told Minnie, I want to but I don't want to jinx things.. I haven't been in a serious relationship in a long time, and I'm not even sure Roger even wants a serious relationship.. Anyway, that day, I took a cab home, since Roger wanted to come fetch me.. We went to this ice-skating place.. I must say, it was so much fun.. 2hours after that, it was around 14:30 and we went for lunch.. We talked a lot .. Joking, making fun of each other.. Then he caught me of guard by this, he told me he liked me, and wanted to go on more dates with me and wants to be in a relationship with me.. It seemed like it was too soon, but I felt the same way.. A 3days later, he asked me to be he's girlfriend.. And now, here we are, in some fancy restaurant, having the time of our lives.. Like I said we haven't told anyone, but very soon we will.. We were exiting the restaurant at 19:02 and we bumped into the last person I expected to see..

[Minnie's POV]

So, tonight, my parents and I are meeting Diggy and his parents.. After I told my Mom that I was pregnant, they flew into New Jersey a week later.. I explained everything to them, my mom looked like she wanted to cry, and my dad was furious.. After they calmed down, they wanted to meet Diggy and he's parents.. So tonight, we all meeting up.. I'm really scared, I don't know what to expect from tonight.. My dad can be a little hotheaded.. But he promised to be nice.. We were meeting up at 19:00 at this fancy restaurant and it was already 16:00.. I took a long shower and at 16:53, I went to my room and started to get ready.. My parents were picking me up at 18:00, so I didn't have much time.. I quickly decided on wearing brown leather Dr Martens, peach high-low lace dress with my denim jacket with a few pretty hand accessories.. I wore my clothes and started to straighten my hair which took about 20min.. I always keep my make-up natural and tied my hair into a ponytail..I was alone in the house coz Tiana left an hour ago looking really pretty.. She was wearing a grey long sleeve peplum dress, red platform heels with a silver bangle and a silver necklace with the letter T on it.. She has been doing that a lot these days, like she's going on dates or something.. I mean, I know she'd tell me if she was dating someone, I'm her bestfriend.. So I don't think she's dating someone.. But I don't know what she's always dressed up for.. I'll just ask her later.. After that day of the doctors appointment, when I was insulted by blue bird- AKA Skyler Blue- Diggy tried to call me but was too upset to answer.. I called him the next day and told him it was okay, but we haven't really spoken much since that day.. Only when I told him my parents wanted to meet up.. Anyway, my parents were 10min late, so we left at my apartment at 18:15.. Luckily we weren't that late, we arrived at the restaurant at 19:02 and we bumped into a couple.. It was Tiana and some familiar dude.. And they had their hands intertwined.. Wait, this dude was Roger?!
