"Yes, mum ill be fine" shouted Jane, from the top of the stairs. She soon jumped down the stairs, threw on her coat, went outside and slammed the front door. "It's about time, you took so long!" Exclaimed Chloe, Jane's friend. "Well it is my mother mrs protective not your mother, mrs easygoing!" " can we just hurry and get to the town?" Chloe said. They both walked to the local town and went shopping for a total of 3 hours. "I'll see you tomarrow Chloe, bye!" "Bye". Before Jane knew it it was half 9 at night, so quickly she squabbled into bed and not long after she was sound asleep. It was about 2 in the morning when Jane woke up to a loud scratching sound, she quietly hoped out of bed, and tiptoed down the stairs.
Jane couldn't see what had made the noise until.. She walked into the living-room, and there right in front of her was a door in the wall! Extremely surprised, and quite scared she went to run and tell her mother but she felt really intrigued to exploring what was behind this mysterious door.
Finally she just decided to open the door and take a peek. She turned the handle of the door and before she knew it right in front of her was a beautiful paradise beach with a bright blue sea, golden sand, palm trees and a forest, a bit back from the sand.
Jane thought her mother might catch her so she shut the door and made her decision of coming back the next day with her best friend, Chloe.
NEXT DAY..
As soon as Jane woke up she ran as fast as her legs could carry her down the stairs to see if the door was still there but the door had disappeared, vanished, poof!
Chloe came calling not long after..
"Heyy"
"Hey"
"So what are doing today?"
"Well, don't tell no one but I could have seen a magical mysterious door last night!!"
"Your making no sense Jane?"
"Never mind.."
A FEW DAYS LATER..
Jane woke up to the strange scratching noise, again she went downstairs and the door had came back, magically appeared.
But this time Jane opened the door and went right inside, it was really amazing just to look at, this magical beautiful place, she ran straight for the water and splashed around in it then sun-bathed on the beach, she thought she might just go back and get into bed again just incase her mother might see that she wasn't in her bed.
When she tried to open the door to get back into her house, the door started shaking and making the unusual scratching noise and within a second the door disappeared!
Jane started to worry, would she ever get back? Would she ever see her family and friends again? Would she be safe here even for an hour before a giant lion jumps out or something?
Jane spent about 3 hours searching the island and crying looking for the door but there was still no sign of the door.
Later on Jane managed to get a coconut down from a tree and that kept her hunger away although she had to drink sea water (extremely salty!) to keep her hydrated.
4 YEARS LATER..
Today was Jane's birthday, she turned 14 and surprisingly she was still on the island, happily living and had made friends with the sea creatures and birds and met a girl her age called jasmine who had also been on the island a while, the same thing happened to her where the door appeared in her house, they were having the best of fun and totally forgot about their old home, their family, their friends, everything, all they focused on was this wonderful island. Back in the real world jane's family were still worried sick about her, the police were on the case looking for her, everyone was so upset about Jane going missing but it was quite obvious that now they would never find her. Years and years passed and one very stormy night, it was Jane's mother who heard the scratching this time, she got out of bed and went downstairs and yet she was exclaimed at the door, she opened it and there standing was Jane, she rushed straight to her mother with jasmine coming behind.
"Ah! Honey my darling little Jane, where were you? Are you ok? Are you safe? What happened? Oh I missed you so much, I'm so glad your back, Henry! Henry!(janes dad) "
"It's ok mum, I'm safe, I'm glad I'm back now though, this is jasmine, she was also on the island, can she stay with us, she has no family?, please?"
"Of course, Jane I love you my little darling, my wonderful daughter, I don't want to lose you again, I couldn't cope when you were gone, I didn't sleep one wink, I'm so glad your back x"
