Sunlight filtered through the wispy Hogwarts curtains, settling and gentle glow over the room as the day began. Outside, birds sang swooping through the sky, dropping past each window as the world's most peaceful alarm clock. Inside, Dahlia lay tangled in her blanket, Anne's old uniform still clinging to her skin in comfort.

As she awoke to the sound of birdsong, her eyes wearily creaked open, having to remind herself that she was now waking up at Hogwarts, not Beauxbatons or at home. The room around her looked the result of a hurricane; paper, uniform items, accessories, equipment all scattered around the room, some of it definitely not hers. A soft rhythm of thumps sounded below her ear and she craned her neck upwards to be met by a sleeping Sebastian passed out on her pillow.

Dahlia's heart jumped in her chest as she lay there admiring his sleeping face, the way the curls on his head swung slightly as he breathed, how his eyelashes twitched, or the way his lips were ever so slightly parted as he sighed out. She found herself contemplating whether or not to freak out, whether to stay or get up.

She didn't have long to consider, Sebastian's eyes suddenly fluttered open, blinking around to adjust to his surroundings before landing back on her, a small smile creeping onto his face.

"Good morning." He sighed, hands tightening around her waist.

"Good morning." Dahlia smiled, blinking up through her eyelashes as she nestled further into his chest, warmth flooding between them.

"Are you ready for your first day?" Sebastian asked, adjusting his head to see her better.

"No I am not." Dahlia groaned, fidgeting with the button on his dress shirt.

"Come on, it won't be that bad! Let's see your schedule!" Sebastian chuckled, shaking her gently.

Lightly Dahlia lifted her head, scanning the room for her wan, eyes landing on it perched on the edge of her bed and picked it up. Then she looked around the room once more, landing on the schedule written on her desk. "Accio schedule." She breathed, floating the schedule towards Sebastian's outstretched hand.

"Okay." Sebastian said, clearing his throat. "First you have Transfiguration."

"Okay, that's not that bad."

"Then Potions."

"Eh."

"Afterwards is Herbology."

"I like that one."

"Next is Care Of Magical Creatures."

"Alright."

"Then you have Charms."

"ugh."

"And last, my personal favourite, Defence Against The Dark Arts!"

The room rang with Sebastian's voice, his dramatic reading of her schedule now finally over.

"Isn't that the very thing our marriage is based on?" Dahlia asked, taking the schedule and setting it down.

"It's part of the curriculum! I can't skip classes it's extremely irresponsible!" He laughed.

"Whatever." Dahlia mumbled, fighting her own laughter. "We should most likely get up soon."

"Or we could stay here the whole day under the excuse of it being your first day." Sebastian shrugged, placing his hands back down on her waist.

"Uh... how about no?" Dahlia scoffed, looking back up at him.

"Uh...how about yes?" Sebastian mimicked, holding on tighter.

"Sebastian....no."

"Sebastian...yes."

"Fuck off." She laughed, pushing up on her elbows.
