Reaching out slowly their hand gripped the door knob. They held tightly onto the knob, twice as tightly onto the kitchen knife that was in their right hand. Twitching the knob slowly, they peaked one head in; using the faint moon light and their adjustment of the darkness to check onto the person laying in bed. Asleep. He slowly walked into the room, leaving the door behind them slightly open. It wouldn't matter if it was closed or open today. There was only two results that could happen two night. One of them has to die. One of them must die. He couldn't bare this feeling in their chest, the feeling that swirled inside of them, this... All of this hatred that made him.. Him.
was this his destiny? To hate? He couldn't accept it.
His eyes going around the room, his eyes eventually landed onto the prized sword on the wall. The Illumina.. He looked down at the kitchen knife in their hand, then back at the lightly glimmering sword. This kitchen knife just wouldn't do. Not with their creator at least. They approached, dropping the kitchen knife on the floor, their hands going out stretched as they reached for the sword. But he hesitated. His body almost instinctively tensed, used to punishment when trying to grab swords that aren't his. He flinched for a moment as in expecting that familiar grab of the collar, lifting him away and out of the room. But It didn't come.
With a burst of confidence they snatched the sword into their grip, both hands holding onto the sword as they took a gasped breath.
