Mona was staring, blankly, not in control, not that she ever was anyways.
She let it happen, watching as her own body grabbed the knife. Watching from inside the mind, not outside of it. She wished it'd stopped, she just wanted to be free one time is all she asked, but of course the gods wouldn't bless her with an answer.
The player kept control away from her any chance she'd have a silver of hope it always came crushing back.
She's growing used to it but it still haunts her. Of course it'd haunt her. She's been forced to do countless of things that she HATED.
She hated this. She didn't wanna sit as a so called 'nice' puppet...She wanted to move on her own acord but of course, THEY Wouldn't let her.
But moving into the present, she was of course being controlled by the player which wouldn't stop, she guessed they was a slob who lived in their mother's basement recording videos of games. But she knew she'd have to endure this torture for much longer, and clearly the player decides to do the heartless version, she sighed in her mind.
The strings on her arms sticking up to match the Player's commands, pulling her to each person and either killing them or hurting them relentlessly.
The pain the fear in their eyes, having someone they trusted in another universe hurt them far much worse then any betrayal.
Especially Oliv-...no...that wasn't just Olive's. It was Hikari. The mix of Olive with Kaylie. The fear from Olive's side...the anger from Kaylie's...was heartbreaking. Sure Mona HATES Kaylie but...she never wanted to kill her. And Olive...poor sweet Olive...he was Mona's best friend.
The hauntings of the killings would only make the thoughts worse, the pain, the adrenaline of the fights. Of course only a sadistic person would enjoy that which means of course the player is enjoying it.
Sick fucking bastard...
~But it just started...~
Finally, after hours of pain and being forced to do things the player finally exited the game, leaving Mona alone with her thoughts and surprisingly with her own body, finally.
She can do her own stuff now without being controlled to be a monster. But, it's always been like that, if she didn't want it or not.
....
"I can't believe they keep doing this...it's been so long since someone last played...so...why are they playing again?..it's been years...i was hoping the game would stay dead..."
But, you can't always get what you want, Mona.
ʚ♡⃛ɞ
But, it's time to move on.
Mona went back to her 'House' which was an apartment building, it was quiet...of course it was. Everyone was dead or ran away. The player didn't reset the game after the ending. Ugh, she's have to deal with the silence for awhile.
Damnit! She was already alone enough, of course the player just HAD to go and make the feeling of loneliness worse. Just the way to go.
She went to her room in the building, closing the door behind her with a soft click.
Going to her bed and laying down, her white hair spreading Beneath her head, looking up at the ceiling...
"Just...another day..."
She murmured to just herself, never getting rid of the feeling of being watched by someone, or...People even. It did feel like multiple eyes on her, just reading her like a open book.
It felt...unsettling...but not much she could do about it besides ignore it.
She stared blankly, not that anyone could see her expression anyway since her face was blurry, nobody has seen her actual face. Not even herself.
But she wanted to move on from that, feeling uncomfortable even thinking about her real face. Not that she'd ever see it.
She missed Hikari...Actually no...she missed the Olive part of Hikari. Before he was forced to be an experiment and forced into the same body with Kaylie who was an overall horrible person. She felt bad for Olive, knowing he deals with self blame 24/7 over stuff that was never his fault in the first place, she really wanted him to be okay again...but now that he's gone it doesn't feel the same anymore.
She sat up, swinging her legs off the bed, getting up. She put on her boots, after that she grabbed her keys and opened the door.
Walking outside, closing the door behind her and walking to Olive's past house.
☆hours of walking later☆
She got to his house, she opened the door with the spare key he always used to put under the lamp on the branch of a tree.
She let herself inside and went to the couch where he and she would sit down and laugh, talk, sometimes even cry while watching a show.
But ever since it happened, it could never be restored.
"Fuck...why did he have to be picked...he didn't do anything to deserve that...he was just 14...hell...Kaylie was 17...she was almost about to be done with school...but...ugh the scientists...they just HAD to have an experiment on people...stupid stupid stupid!!"
She felt horrible for not letting Olive skip with her so he wouldn't have to be picked...
"I'm so sorry Olive...i know you probably already forgave me but...i don't deserve the forgiveness you give...nobody does...you forgive too easy..."
Her voice cracked at the end, unseen eyes weiling up with tears
She blinked them away, refusing to cry even if she desperately wanted to.
After a few hours of sitting there and talking to herself about how it's her fault for Olive not having his own body anymore she finally got up with a sigh.
"I'll be back...hopefully tomorrow if the player is busy...but...i know they probably won't be..."
She went back outside locking the door behind her, leaving.
"I miss you..."
