(Kate's POV)
We are moving to a new house...
It was just an ordinary Sunday morning until my mother's sudden change in her behaivour . When I talked with her, she revealed that we are moving to a new house due to financial issues and her problems at work. I didn't really understand why she became different than usual. Yeah, leaving your dear house where you spend your most of life, your friends and like these things is kinda difficult and sad but she doesn't really looked sad

Happy and satisfied.
I tried to ignore it. But not her behaivour changed, her skin colour changed too. i thought her skin colour was pale but, it was actually light brown skin. She was more cheerful unlike her cold-hearted behavior.
We decided to leave the house at 5pm so we can have time to prepare our stuff and say goodbye to others. To be honest, I didn't have any friends at that time, so I just packed my things and watch some movie on my phone. When I was watching movie, someone opened my door and stood there. I didn't want to look so i said "I'm busy" but nobody answered instead he/she closed the door. I thought it was Jake - my 15 years old twin brother who likes to annoy me so I just ignored it and countinued to watch that movie.
(Jake's POV)
"I don't want to leave"
That was the first thing that came to my mind when I was packing my things. After I finished packing I decided to look for my loser twin and found her on her room, watching movie. She seemed kinda ok about leaving. Is it because she hasn't got any friends or close people? But I was one of the most popular student at school due to being handsome, charming and being the leader of school's basketball team .Literally all of the girls in my class and some lower grades had a crush on me. Basicially my life was great.

"I think all of us is ready" said Kate with her tired eyes. "Can't even have a proper health like you can't have a proper conversation with new people, huh?" I whispered loud so she can hear it too. But she just ignored it just like she ignored my excistance and head to car with her phone. I got annoyed because I was like a fragile boy who faints with just one touch and she was like some well-trained gym rat who. After that I tried to cool down a bit and headed to the car
The car smelled faintly of leather and Mom's perfume, very sharp and floral. I knew she used the one which she brought yesterday.Its aroma was far too sharp for me, forcing me to open the car window. Kate sat beside me, earphones in, head tilted toward the window. I opened my mouth to say something, but the silence was so thick it swallowed my words.

...The two hours we spent for the road lasted like forever to me.
Nobody said a single word...
"Jake... wake up, dear" said mom
My eyes fluttered open just as the car slowed to a stop. Outside the window stood the house—our new home. Its shadow stretched across the driveway, tall and unfamiliar, like it was waiting for us.
