Intro and Layout

This is my first fanfiction, so I'll apologize in advance for any bad grammar. This is an idea I had a few months ago but kept in the back of my mind. Though recently I decided to start writing, and I figured this was a pretty good idea for a starter fanfiction.

Each part, or chapter, will be about a singular devil fruit. Almost like a one-shot. I'll write about my ideas for its user and the fruit itself. This fanfiction is almost like a brainstorm I made public.

That's all I really have to say, so here are two overall notes and things to know before I explain the layout.

-1. Unfortunately I will not come up with the syllable-like Japanese names for the fruits. I don't speak Japanese and don't want to use a generated translation if I'm not sure of it.

-2. Some devil fruits that I write about in this book will be similar to those in the anime; that's inevitable. Though I will try my best to differentiate them from those that already exist in the One Piece world.

Layout~

The Basics:
-1. I'll list its category and its model, if applicable. With a short, clearer, description of the power it grants.
-2. I'll list possible practical and combative uses.
-3. Finally, I'll write what I envisioned for the fruit's design and user.

Explained:
-1. This section is pretty straightforward. Following the guidelines created and used in the anime, I'll give you the fruit's possible type. Along with a rough description of the power granted by the fruit.

-2. In this section I'll come up with a few uses for the devil fruit. From attacks to defences. I'll also write about uses in a user's daily life. Such as with chores or leisure. Please remember I only have so much free time and can only plan so much for each fruit. Naturally, I too have favourites, which may also contribute to how in-depth I am.

-3. This section can be skimmed or skipped over without affecting the devil fruit description. This section exists so I can have a little extra creative freedom with my ideas. I'll create the basic role of a character I believe could canonically use this devil fruit. This could mean I plan their potential style, or their achievements. Though I could also suggest possible weapons they could use with their fruit. This section could also be used for designing the fruit itself, as in what real-world fruit it would be based off of, and its colour scheme. I'll try my best to plan for all the fruits, but I will probably end up planning more for some rather than others.

Sabo's Mera-Mera no Mi

-1. Logia
The Flame-Flame fruit grants its user immunity and the ability to manipulate and become fire.

-2. The Flame-Flame Fruit grants Sabo the ability to use fire-based attacks. Such as Ace's iconic Flame Fist where he shoots a line of fire from his knuckles to his opponent(s). Sabo also combines its burning capabilities with his Dragon Claw. Of course, the fruit is a logia and thus grants the user immunity to most generic haki-less attacks.

A practical way Ace used the fruit was to light Sangi's cigarette. A theory suggests it led to his death, but that's a story for another time.

-3. I can't really write this section using an example devil fruit. Especially due to the fact we've seen not one, but two users. I do think it suited Ace's personality and style very well.
