Updates Galore 2

Hey everyone. This blog post is just a little late (two weeks, my bad). I have many things I want to discuss. So expect another rambly mess. I hope it's at least a little enjoyable.

The first and personally most exciting thing I wish to discuss is my books, specifically the Kingsguard. Just last night, I finished what I deem to be the greatest chapter I have ever written. I will not spoil anything, but I think the final few pages of that chapter are the best I have ever written. Despite being a history book where you are not in characters' heads, you can fully understand every single character's motivations, fears and weaknesses, and this is what I wanted from the Kingsguard. There is such a high when you finish a chapter, especially one that you have worked on for a long time, and last night was the greatest high I have ever received. I read the final pages again and again, and I must say, I cannot wait to share them with you. They certainly changed my view on my work and have inspired me to finally finish the Kingsguard. This chapter was always the final barricade that I loathed, but again, must I say, this was incredible. The Kingsguard will most likely take another two or three weeks to finish, but I do wish to begin sharing it with you. So next Sunday, at 12:00 PM EDT, I will post the preface and first chapter of the Kingsguard. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.

And so I must also speak of Volume 2.

I have not updated Volume 2 for over a month at this point, but I do continue to come up with ideas for it. Again, I wish for the Kingsguard to be a bridge between ACOG and Volume 2.

And I suppose I could finally reveal the name of Volume 2: A Throne of Blood. Man, does it feel good to finally reveal that.

For the third discussion, I will talk about the media I've consumed

Squid Game Season 3 was terrific, and Humas Are is my favourite episode from the entire show. I know some people hate the ending, but I love and respect it. It shows how the poor will always be taken advantage of by the rich. No, it's not pretty, but neither is life.

Some movies I have watched are: "Wall-E", "Challengers", "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?", "Spotlight", "Precious", "Seven", and "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". All of these movies are simply incredible, and while some probably deserve their own reviews, I will say all were 4-5 stars in my mind. All have made their way on my "Top 40 Films in No Specific Order" list. One movie that I have that I wish to watch is Schindler's List, but I have heard it is a movie that you must watch without any interruptions. When I watch the film, I will do so on its terms, in one complete sitting. I have also adored Ralph Fiennes since watching Conclave and Red Dragon, and I have heard this is his best performance.

And now we move on to the biggest piece of media I've consumed, "A Dance with Dragons" by George R.R. Martin. This book was simply incredible, and I will speak more of it tomorrow in its review.

I don't want to make this blog post longer than it should be, and so I will wrap it up now. School has started again, but I do plan on doing blog posts more often. Even if it's just a quote I adore, I will post it. This is only my 13th blog post since November of last year, and I wish to expand that number far more this year.

So more blog posts coming, and tomorrow, the review of A Dance with Dragons. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for reading.
