Athanasia looked at her brother she was really curious about that power of the last one and wanted to ask buy controlled herself since her brother didn't ask or even change his face like it was something unimportant while cluade and felix were also curious but for a different reason

They wanted to know if she knows when they'll die

Finally felix being himself couldn't contain his curiosity and asked

"Your Highness, does she knows when I die? Felix asked with an obviously curious look on his face

Cale was silent for a moment and the other two(cluade and athanasia) also looked at him

"Yes. But she can't say it"

"Why" felix and athanasia asked at the same time with disappointment

"Everything has a price and she doesn't want to pay for it"

Felix and athanasia just oohed while cluade looked more interested in it

While they were in their thoughts they heard cale say mom and the three of them froze

Cluade and felix froze cause cale never met his mother since she died the very day he was born and could it be that she's also one of the  spirits?

While athanasia froze cause she also knew that his situation was also like her and just a child like the athanasia in the novel who craved for affection and  attention. And since he was just a child he would probably want it if not from cluade his father there should be a father figure or a mother

Cale sensing them froze he looked at them with a look of confusion then remembered that he forgot about them while talking to his anc- no spirits and his mother made him call her mom cause she was away for a whole month and missed it. So cale explained

"Zoeè has the same hair and eye color as mom so she told me to call her that since she was basically with me almost  since I was born"

The three of them were speechless. Cluade cause his son called a stranger and a spirit nonetheless mom while here he wasn't even recognised as a family forgot being called father. He doesn't want to acknowledge that it's his fault since it was the same for athanasia and she just recognised his as a father and even called him papa at the first day they met

Felix was also speechless cause of the same reason as cluade 'poor his majesty' thought felix but he also felt that he deserved it while athanasia was in between the two of them but also discovered why he was so cold to cluade and didn't even fear him  'who would do that when there's those spirits around him' athanasia shivered when she remembered the thunder

"Lil brother, I really want to know the spirits ranks. From the strongest to the weakest " Athanasia asked wanting to end the awkwardness

"Hahha I'm the strongest" rai while laughing when lian interrupted him saying she was and then started bickering then restling when lian used a spear and it hit him perfectly. The problem?? Cale was drenched

The three looked at cale who was expressionless and calm but his calmness wasn't the usual one but felt more like the one before a storm

"Pfft" Zoeè started then all of them except lian started laughing cause she was in trouble

"Cutie you look like a lil cat" she teased then the others started while rai made a fire around him to not feel cold and to dry him faster and to be out of trouble

"Uh...lian" after some silence cale said with a blian tone that made her almost want to run while the others were looking at cale specifically the fire around him and athanasia slowly distanced herself from him since the fire was hot and the other two felt it.
It was hot and their instincts screamed danger when the fore appeared. It was like a destructive power that wasn't for it to be tamed but destruction and horror for enemies

While they were in their thoughts a gold appeared not one but several and all were in front of cale

"Accepted " cale said with his usual tone that was nonchalant but one could see his eyes shine visibly 'so it was for bribe' the three thought at the same time

"Lil brother you didn't answer my question " Athanasia said. She really wanted to know especially when she saw their powers

"Hmm...alian is the strongest " cale said after some time of silence

The three were shocked to say nonetheless especially cluade and felix since they sensed the  destructive fire and also that thunder how could he not the strongest?and if he wasn't how powerful is the rock owner??

Cale sensing their disbelief explained

"Alian's power isn't only for defence and offence but also...hmm...you can say it like domain. He can just with a flick make a castle sunk like it never existed and a land out of map" cale said without changing his expression which made the other three shiver even though cluade's wasn't obvious and cale being himself throw at them another bomb

"But if it's just attack then Amias is the strongest " they looked at him like he was alian 'what's wrong with my son/Lil brother/his highness' the three of them thought at the same time while cluade felt guilty. If he was with his son he would be normal and wouldn't be influenced by those spirits

Those said  spirits felt wronged for some reason but didn't say anything

"Amias and alian are almost on the same level but I just wanted to say it's alian"

"So alian is the strongest?" Athanasia asked

"Yes"

"So if that's the case then Amias is second strongest so who's third" Athanasia asked curiously while cluade acted like he doesn't care but was also curious and felix was showing his curiosity just like athanasia

"Rai" they anticipated it so they didn't ask much about it and then lian was fourth and when cale said Valerie was in the fifth place they were shocked since they thought it would be damian not her. It didn't even cross their mind

"She can create blades that can cut you to tiny meat without even realising it or just make you breathless since just like alian she commands air and you breath with air" a cold  sweat run down their backs. Why all those spirits have scary abilities?

"Then it's Damian, mom
and then lastely Raphael" while the three were contemplating their life chooses a devil according to cale came who was cale's nanny and the tea party ended there
