I cocked my head at Tom

SHUT IT
I clawed at my head, trying to get the voice out. "Marco come here" Tom said quietly. I flapped my wings, once, twice.

DONT TELL ME TO CALM DOWN
"Star, you need to go" Tom said slowly. I saw her leave out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head back to Tom to see him throw himself at me. We tumbled out of the air and fell onto my bed.

I screamed again, oblivious to Tom beside me trying to say something.

My wings spread out again and i jolted forward. More blood splurting from my mouth. I didn't know where Tom was. I didn't know where i was. I didn't know who i was. My head felt like it was split into two.

My eyes shot open. Tom was lying on my stomach, griping my shirt and sobbing. "t-Tom?" He looked up at me and choked "Yo-you were dead" "Do i look dead to you?" i said smiling softly. Tom laughed. I pulled him off my stomach and pushed his face onto mine. He melted into the kiss. I pulled him up next to me and we held hands. Tom pressed a button on his nightstand and the ceiling opened up to show a sky of stars. I gasped at the vast galaxy that was above me. I flew up to the skylight and touched the glass. I heard Tom laugh "They're called stars, i had this put in after i saw you at the ball, in case i could get you back" I shot back down to the bed and squeezed Tom. We held each other in our arms and Tom told me where each constellation was until we fell asleep.The next day, Tom called Star to let her know that i hadn't died, but that i was staying where i here. She said she was sorry for what had happened and she was going to leave us alone.
