The cast of characters are all Robloxians (Noobs,Guests etc..)
I will use "BTF" and "ATF" for short, meaning: "Before/After The Fractalizations" to show the differences in the current and prior timeline.
Quick character personality/pronoun check:
Bight---
•He/him •Noob •20 •Stubborn, sore loser, not exactly nice, but he deeply regrets his past mistakes and is trying to change for the better. (Mostly thanks to Tansy's help) •BTF: He's slowly trying to change himself. •ATF: He almost fully forgets about the whole changing plan, the loss of Tansy weighs on him heavily, blaming himself. He gets way more competitive, trying to do everything by himself and not accepting help.
Tansy---
•She/her •Noob •22 •The flower caretaker in her own small shop •Optimistic, joyful, friendly. Though naive, rather ignorant to the negativity outside by choice or just too nice for her own good. •BTF: Taking care of her flowers, just living her life. •ATF: Her optimism surprisingly never fades, not even a crack. But being hopeful doesn't help with ones fate.
Reed---
•He/him •Guest •20 •Training Nurse at the local pharmacy, alongside his sister. •Timid, diffident, calm, introverted. But after the loss of his sister(in the main timeline), he slowly tries to better himself, even if it seems impossible. •BTF: He's still just as timid and just as dependent on his sister. Too dependent. •ATF: With Rian gone, and the regret of him being responsible for it, drives him almost insane. Barely talking, and does not dare enter their house anymore.
Rian---
•She/her •Guest •19 •Training Nurse at the local pharmacy, alongside her brother. •Mute •Hard-working, determined to do whatever she puts her mind into. Ambiverted, warm. But she can quickly get stern in serious situations. •BTF: She's studying with Reed under their parent's teaching. She really wants to be a helpful doctor just like them. •ATF: Rian slowly started to isolate herself inside the basement lab of their house. Not interacting with anyone, not eating, not drinking.. She only pays attention to the small wilted flower inside the test jar, left from their parent's last experiment.
Sapin---
•She/her •Robloxian (Chestnut) •21 •Slightly stern, doesn't easily trust people, but is really nice once she does. Sarcastic, but not exactly mean. •BTF: She just spends her days with her friend, Valoriah. It would've been nice to just keep living with no responsibilities. •ATF: After her shaky mis-shot, she was not able to properly use a pistol ever again. She started to find it way more difficult to trust people, as she kept seeing doppelgänger fractals vaguely mimicking Valoriah over and over again. She hesitantly joined the search for a cure alongside Eizel.
Valoriah---
•She/her •Robloxian (Noodle) •21 •Jokes a lot, almost unserious. Loves to surf, mostly to clear her mind off of her unavoidable responsibilities. Could look bit stoic from outside but she's pretty nice unless she dislikes the person. She is not afraid to say what she feels at the moment, this isn't very helpful sometimes. •BTF: Spends her time doing whatever they want with Sapin. •ATF: She was trying to encourage Sapin to take a shot to the fractal that found them one night at the beach. She couldn't have known how fast the fractal was. Even in her last seconds she was trying to reassure Sapin.
Nico---
•He/him •Noob •23 •The Aide of the General in VitaNox •(Before the facility): Quiet, bit grumpy. (After the facility): Way more talkative, as if he finally found a reason to open his mouth. But loyal to a fault, his biggest weakness. Sarcastic, two-faced, manipulative at times. But to him, it's for the greater cause. •BTF: Before he joined the facility, he was pretty much done with everything. No goals, no dreams, no reason for anything. He decided to join the facility as the applicaton he made with no hopes on being accepted managed to be chosen. He wasn't all excited, just looking for any way possible to feel anything. He at first just faked being nice and punctual. But overtime as he got better at it, he forgot what's fake and what's real. Spent his couple years training, and eventually found himself as the aide, not by his choice. •ATF: Him included, the higher-ups in the facility knew about the fractalizations and the virus spreading, quietly working on it. He was then assigned with the task of being a spy. A spy for the treaths slowly getting closer.
Selven---
•He/him •Guest •24 •The general of the facility, VitaNox •Stoic, very reserved and secretive. Hides behind a facade that knows what he's doing. •BTF: Selven was trained his whole life, not being able to spend a normal childhood. He was being trained to one day become the general after his father, but he couldn't know it would be so early. He wasn't ready for it at all. Behind the scenes, he was scared, sometimes shaking even. Panicked under the huge responsibility of being the general. He could only hide behind a mask, a facade he faked. •ATF: His panic never fully died down, not even once. But at least it was slightly more bearable when he got to know his aide more. As the virus was spreading so rapidly, so did his stress. Trying to find a way, any way at all to end it. He could only try for so long.
Eizel---
•They/them •Robloxian (True Blue Hair) •22 •A detective,used to work for VitaNox •They are very calm and collected, but not because they've always been this way. It's because of the drugs they've been advised to take for years. To stop the stress and halucinations. They're smart, obvious for a detective. •BTF: They were supposed to be retired from being a detective but had to do one more investigation after the letter they received. •ATF: They started investigating, going places to places, meeting many people, so many people..
Frenn---
•He/him •Robloxian (Bacon) •25 •A soldier at the VitaNox facility •He's bit clumsy, but getting the job done anyway. He's most of the time very nice and friendly, but can immediately get serious when needed. Though not the smartest. •BTF: He was a simple worker at the facility. The facility was his only choice after he failed to get in the college he wanted. •ATF: Him included, most people working in VitaNox did not know about the fractalizations. He was blindly working while the higher-ups did anything and everything to keep it hidden. When he finally found out about it, he wasn't sure if he should trust the facility again or quit, but he sadly had nowhere else to go or nothing else to do if he didn't have this place.
Vandrel---
•He/him •Robloxian (Black Ponytail) •27 •A guard at the VitaNox facility •He is mostly unreadable, as he barely ever shows his softer side. He's a strategic thinker, but not heartless. He struggles to openly express care, so his kindness is "indirect", like giving someone better gear, quietly covering for their mistakes, etc. He keeps his empathy hidden under control. He's deeply affected by loss, but doesn't show it in public. In private though, he replays events in his mind, wondering if a different choice could've saved someone. •BTF: Vandrel grew up in a small town where he constantly had to deal with unstable weather and dangerous environment. His father was very knowledged in planning ride routes, defenses, food storage.. And Vandrel inherited that secure mindset, wanting to be someone who protects others. •ATF: He became a guard in the facility, swore to protect everyone under his care. But that doesn't mean hes afraid to attack if one of those people became a threat to the rest. He stayed serious, barely ever showing signs of emotion. And after he found out about the virus was being kept a secret by the higher-ups, he switched up on his guard duty, still protecting the people but now against VitaNox.
