Beginning a verse
Of profane words
With a line of white powder
I inhale your scent
And we end up in a puddle of sweat
Nude at the sight
But not where the heart can reach
You want to wear armour
But all you manage is a thin veil
That barely covers your nakedness
I poisoned your mind
Like Belladonna drops in the eye
Your inner truth isn't less clear
With dilated pupils
The obsession is enough
To fill two plates
For an infinity of meals
An avoidant hopeless romantic
Isn't that conflicting ?
But I understand
You were created
The same way I was forged
From the same kind of stardust
You kneeled
Before undeserving entities
Pretending to be Gods
Who've shown no appreciation
To your worship
When humiliation becomes a habit
It can become an addiction
I know you can be weak
So I won't make the mistake
Of carving my name in your flesh
I'll live in your memory
After I leave you in limerence
Once I'm satisfied
Of your taste
And whatever more I take from you
I take great pleasure
In playing with my toys
Bending, stretching, manipulating you
Into positions and states of mind
You've never dreamed before
I can pretend to love you
If that's your wish
But I'm so good at fooling others
I might even fool myself
And believe my own lies
Don't bother
Clutching your rosary
For I am full of sin
And prayers don't work
Cause there's no hope for me
Lust and Greed are my biggest capital
And I intend to keep feeding
Until my hunger is satiated
You run with fear
But love being chased
We want the things we're most afraid of
Don't you see ?
We're more alike than you think
Now, the only question that remains:
Who's the master and who's the puppet?
