Guest1337 x Chance

Chance flicked his coin, being chased down by the red pill baby once again, and he grunted when his panel warned him about having 7 weakness. C00lkidd seemed thrilled to see Chance slowing down to a walk, and yelled out: "There you are!!" Chance braced for impact, but when it never came, he opened his eyes, seeing the child try and dodge a punch, but to no avail. "No fair!! >:[" Whined the kid, but guest just grabbed chance's hand and ran over the poison bridge, making it to the house where a medkit usually sat.

"Thanks Guest"Muttered the gambler, glancing at the other, a flicker of golden in his eyes behind those shades of his. Guest just smiled, handing over the medkit for the other to tend to their injuries while he stood guard, flicking up his panel to check the status of the other survivors:

He watched Chance's health status burst back to 100%, and heard the gambler flicking his coin again. He glanced back to see their eyes flicker golden again after a successful coin flip, and smiled, walking over, only to stop in front of chance. "Hey Chance, you know how your eye's glow golden when something lucky happens?" The gambler nodded, looking up at the other, he was having a particularly unlucky day, so he sat at a good 5'5 right now. He tossed the remains of the medkit to the side, none of it would be use to anyone else anyways. "So why is it they flicker golden or stay golden whenever I'm around?" Chance stiffened, glancing away and shoving his shades higher on the bridge of his nose. "You just happen to show up at lucky times.."He spoke, Guest grinned, lifting the others chin to have his face meet his own. "Even at the cabin?" This caused the shorter to grumble.

The soldier chuckled softly, a light-hearted chuckle, but still genuine.
"Just earlier when I saved you from C00lkidd, I saw them shine a bright golden as you stared at me" Chance averted his gaze. "So? It was just luck that you showed up to save me from burdening you guys again with more time to deal with the child" He made up an excuse on the fly, not wanting to admit to the other about their feelings towards him. The other just sighed, leaving it at that and starting to walk off to go help Elliot, who was holding his burning arm and running towards the two, tossing a pizza at Guest.

Guest caught the pizza with practiced ease, shoving a few bites in his mouth, feeling himself become rejuvenated and saw Elliot immediately gain speed, just in time too, as he noticed the other had looked a bit exhausted from running. Chance started flipping his coin again, Heads, Tails, Tails, Tails, Heads.  They grinned, those ever so handsome golden eyes showing as he spun himself around, pointing their flintlock at the monstrous pill. Silence rose between the three as Elliot turned to see if he made the mistake of healing Guest first.

. . .

"IM TELLING DAD!! D:"

There was a sigh of  relief from Elliot as he continued to run off, taking the time to get as far as possible from C00lkidd. Guest grinned at Chance, both of them exchanging a high five before they ran off to find Elliot and protect them, In the distance they heard C00lkidd summoning some of his pizza minions, and then running after them to the closest survivor, Chance looked down at his panel to find there was only 20 seconds left on the clock. They grabbed the soldier's sleeve as they slowed their pace. "About the conversation earlier.." He started, watching Guest turn to look at him. He got nervous and shifted their weight from one foot to the other, flicking their coin to relieve some stress he suddenly started feeling. "Yeah, my eyes become golden whenever I'm around you..you just shine so brightly among everyone else..the way you are quick to take action no matter how dangerous it may be for you. I don't know how you do it without worry.." Chance was a bit breathless after quickly getting that out, still not done, but taking a moment to breathe glancing up at the now flattered soldier who's calm composure seemed to drop for a moment.

"But even besides all that, you tend to make the most unluckiest moments seem like the luckiest ones I'll ever have.." He paused, "I guess what I'm trying to get at, is that I like you, more than a comrade, more than a close friend, I would want you to be mine for the rest of this eternity we are stuck in, because you make me feel like there's hope for us." He stared up at the soldier, who's face was dusted with pink. The gamblers own face was burning red as he admitted his love for Guest. Unfortunately Guest had no time to give a reaction though, as the round ended and they were teleported back to the main cabin, everyone around started chatting in their respective groups.

Chance walked over to the couch and sat down, holding his head in his hands. They couldn't believe they poured their heart out into that confession only to be cut off by the damn Spectre. he felt an arm snake around his lower back and a body sit down next to him, He looked up to see the soldier staring down at him with a soft smile. "I feel the same way chance...and honestly I'm glad you find me lucky." He said the last part as he stared into those golden eyes of the gamblers, both of them staring at each other, nobody existing in their world at the moment. Chance placed their head on his shoulder, closing his eyes with a smile. "Does that mean we are together or..?" He questioned, to which the taller laughed, raking a hand through his hair to calm his own nerves, "Yes chance, we are together now" Chance hummed happily, ignoring the stares of the other survivors around the area.
