conversation with a devastation part2#

Start from the beginning

She mumbled half-heartedly.

"Whatever this place is It seems like ancient China in some way shape or form but what's baffling about it ,are the creatures wait no why am I questioning that..."

"I've seen weirder things I don't know why that's the first thing I thought of what I should be questioning as how I'm even able to speak or read the language now that's a real dilemma.."

"But seriously though why is my memory very wishy-washy is that a result of waking up here however it is that I got here?"

"I used to have a great memory it even made people pissed off about it ."

"I don't Get here I sit with glass shards in my hands and only bits and pieces ?"

"...this is ..stupid"

Before she even realized it.

She had closed her eyes involuntarily going over thoughts and questions and scenarios deciding which one to pick and choose which would be the easiest to fall for most difficult to easiest...

Surprisingly during all of that thinking she hadn't even realized a day had gone by. For her mind it was only about 30 minutes but for the world around her it had been hours enough so that by the time the door opened revealing the same officer.

Yin yu .

She sat up in a jolt regathering her guard from the shards of which fell at her feet her eyes narrowing for just a second before realizing who it was only slightly relaxing in response.

"Oh what now?"

She asked though internally cringed not intending it to come off as rude and arrogant but he simply shrugged it off like wiping dust off his shoulder.

"Breakfast, I've been sent to get you."

"Huh?-... already?"

She questioned out loud though it was meant for her internal thoughts yet again mentally cursing to herself if she needed to stop that.

So she didn't see his face but his eyes also narrowed placing one hand on his hip with a exasperated sigh.

"You didn't sleep?"

"No matter we'll deal with this later.. I've got a feeling you're not going to sleep willingly even if you wanted to so I suppose in the meantime follow me I'm sure you're hungry? "

She did not protest that.
Free food was one way to get her.

So she followed him down the hall.

"I should probably start familiarizing myself with this maze of a palace if I'm going to be stuck here for a while against my will."

Following behind him she kept her eyes anywhere but looking ahead of her trying to familiarize specific doorways hallways and locations.
Until she bumped into the back of Yin yu .

"Sorry ."

She mumbled taking a step back, he simply shrugged and opened the door for her stepping slightly to the side she took one glance at him and he gave her a shadow of a nod and she walked in.

Breakfast was weird and awkward.. the couple only really seem to talk to themselves and when they did mention her she didn't reply all of it was beyond uncomfortable and foreign to her .

Small memories fleshed in her head.

Eating with family in the morning was always more of a formality that a family breakfast it was merely used as an excuse to go over daily duties and responsibilities. All business and no pleasure. Her mother and father sat in the respecting your positions quietly to the left of her on this Grand rectangular table but a small girl very frail and sickly With shaky hands struggling to pick up eggs with her fork .
