He didn't have any.

All Conrad did was walk up to her, kiss her temple goodnight, and leave her alone in the room.

Hearing the door click shut, it was the signal to let her tears burst out, having her hand cup her mouth shut. She sat on the edge of the bed, feeling like her body and brain were swapping places, while her heart and mind were battling against each other.

Daisy-Jade couldn't believe they argued because of Belly Conklin. She sure as hell got what she wanted, the couple was starting to break.

Staying in this house as if a stadium with all eyes on her, watching and judging what her next steps would be.

I always hate when decisions become too big, too complicated to make so suddenly, Daisy-Jade expressed, It makes me feel like in those video games where the character has to make a big decision that would change everything.

If I stayed, I would be forced to tolerate and be civil with Belly. I would be forced to watch her make goggly eyes for Conrad and not be able to do a damn thing about it. The family knows Belly, they raised her. I came in just a few months ago like a stray dog looking for a home, she thought, If I leave, Belly will know that she got to us, to me. She would be left alone with Conrad, just like she wanted. Belly would get everything she asked for.

No matter what, Daisy-Jade would lose. She'd lose her pride in becoming chivalrous to Belly or lose her dignity in knowing she made her relationship crumble.

DJ truly tossed and turned that night. Her eyes were begging to be shut, her chest was asking to relax for a second, but her mind was running wild, it was holding them hostage of finding some relief at a time like this.

The Monroe turned to her phone and knew immediately what to do when things went out of control.

"Ray, can you come get me?"

a.n.  it always bugs me when conrad is portrayed as a perfect boyfriend in fics during season 1 and the love interest is too understanding and doesn't have flaws! yes, you're supposed to disagree with both of them.
