Can you even believe it? I saw it with my own two eyes! I witnessed it!" Nobara exaggerated and pointed at her eyes to put more weight to her words. "Woah, it sucks. Now I'm regretting that. Why did i insist on going for movie!s?"
"Yes, it sucks to be you!"
Megumi just sat there nonchalantly but listened to them. Even he was surprised with her words. And to say the least, he actually also wishes to listen to her singing.
"Nobara, you're exaggerating it." Paku said as she approached the table with plates to serve them dinner. "But it's the truth. Everyone was so shocked." She then got up and took a hold of her hand once she placed the plates gently. "Please, from now on, whenever you see me down or acting weird, then please sing and trust me. I'd be good as new." Paku smiles and softly flicks her forehead.
"Sure, why not."
And not even seconds passed. Gojo enters the room.
"Gojo sensei! Is it true that Alarose-san today sang in public?" Yuji questioned, and his voice was practically oozing with curiosity and impatience.
"Not public! A store!" Paku rectified him.
"It's the same thing." Megumi said calmly, and Paku turned away.
"Yeah. Indeed, they were under her spell." Gojo replied, and Yuji awes at it like a little kid who just witnessed the vast waves of ocean when he first time got to go to the beach.
"Dramatic." Paku chided.
"The dinner is ready." Paku announced, and he settled himself on his chair, and they ate their dinner in silence, but it was cut off when Gojo's phone rang. Indicating someone is calling him.
"Excuse me." He politely excused himself and went to receive the phone. A few minutes passed, and he entered the room again.
"Kids, i gotta go for another business trip tomorrow." Gojo announced.
