{Masky POV]

Toby was unable to go on the quest to kill his father. If he did then he could die.. So it was just me and Hoodie against a demon. I sighed, this wasn't going to be easy. For one I had never met Toby's father, and for another I don't know what connection he has with Toby, Slender never really say the fact that what may happen to Toby's father may happen to Toby.

I stood next to Hoodie, it was unusually quiet and for a fact I knew Hoodie didn't want to come on this mission.

"What is it?" I turned my head towards him. "What if we don't come back.." I was shocked, Hoodie talked in a full sentence, no stuttering. "Yeah.. but, that's a what if. It's like me saying what if Toby really did die? And we are all just seeing things." Hoodie looked at me, hunching his back he looked at his shoes. "I-it's different, Toby didn't die, sure there w-was a s-slight s-chan-ne" I wasn't able to get the last words out of him, as if he forgot how to talk all together. I sigh once more. Many things were going on.. and we couldn't do anything about it.

(Pov Change)

I made my way through the woods, taking quick but quiet leaps towards my destination. They were crazy if they could take on that psychopathy without me! But of course, I can't beat him without them either, stupid logic. I puffed out my cheeks in a sigh, heaving myself closer and closer to my destination. Toby, what are you doing? You are wounded! I'm surprised you can even stand let alone run!

I shook my head, clearing my mind from the sarcastic yet somewhat demanding voices in my mind. I smiled slightly, and kept pounding towards the dark clearing, in which Slenders dark portal lay. Slender, who meets up with his apparent demon 'boss' each week, opens a portal to what he says is darker than hell, but then again there is supposed to be less fire. More like black, grey, and purple shading the corners of the wretched place.

Man... I am so stupid. This was a stupid idea, a stupid plan, a stupid thought even!

I came to a halt, almost falling over my feet. My legs felt like pins and needles, and a lethargic sense came into mind and my face turned a slight shade of purple and blue. I let out a huff and slowly walked into the dark area, closing my eyes tightly.

The air shifted from a warmish summer day to a cold and dark winter night. I opened my eyes, the warmth of my breath making a cloud form in front of me. My pupils may have just shrunk ten times as small as they were before. This place was horrifying. But that was only because it was dark.

Oh hello..

I opened my mouth and winced slightly. There was no one in front of me, so it had to be coming from.. A warm breath reached my neck, sending chills up my spine and almost putting me into a panic.

"Get away from me." My voice was venomous and fairly demanding, it would be enough to scare Jeff senseless, or, at least I think so.

He was chuckling now, his voice distant, but, then again, the warm breath seemed to get warmer. As if my neck was on fire. I turned around quickly, but then again I wasn't aware of the shadowed creature winding up something to hit me with. My breath caught in my neck and I maneuvered my way to the side of the creature, avoiding the attack the best I could.

Five years of watching Karate Kid.. don't fail me now.

(POV change)

I quickened my pace slightly, speeding up passed Hoodie and closer to the portal clearing. This was the place, and this was our potential death.

I shook my head, these thoughts were not gonna help me as we tried to free Toby, if we freed Toby. I once again shook my head, coming to a halt next to Hoodie. There was our ticket to potential death. I heard Hoodie sigh and walk through the portal.

I followed after, but what we saw wasn't something we expected.

(Pov change, AGAIN)

I had just leaped out of the way of the shadowed creatures strike, and once again it was winding up for another. I felt my body move down before I could comprehend what was about to happen. I semi-effectively through out my fist, but I was obviously met by nothing. I jumped back to avoid another attack, letting out an overdo breath of air.

I raised my head from my crouched position, just to be met by a shadowed fist. Suddenly I was air born. My head soon slammed into what I thought was ground, but it was ground below the ground I was just on. If that even made sense.

I had fallen down a level of this endless mountain range. I saw the shadow creature come into view, almost looking as if it was going to crush me. I quickly leaped out of the way, throwing my self about a mile away from him. Impact didn't hurt, obviously, but it did knock the breath out of me. I felt a cold hand press up against my chest and hold me down. It was difficult to breath, but at this point I didn't assume it mattered.

I was gonna die, right there.

I blinked up and saw the shadowy creature, it's hand against my chest and what I thought was a leg laying on my legs. I felt paralyzed. I looked down at my feet then back up at him. Where was the other arm..?

I saw a black blob above him, winding up to take the life out of me. Fear plastered over my face, and I felt my chest start to burn. My eyes widened and I stared up at the reflective blue eyes.

M-my dad?

I waited for impact.
