CHAPTER 6
(THE STALKING AND JUDGEMENTAL BEGINS)
As we were walking out the door I noticed something, Daniel was being such a gentlemen, opening doors for me and waiting for me to walk out, and helping me in and out the car since my leg was still broken and sore. While we were going to school Daniel helped me out the car and with my crutches, everyone stopped, stared, and whispered, this was just like the twilight seen except nothing was in slow motion, then I heard someone say
??: glad she with Daniel and not Ryan, she'll be safe now.
I smiled and Daniel said
Daniel: you ready?
I said yes. As we were walking Meghan ran up to me and gave me a big hug and said
Meghan: okay diva, I have something to show you it's really, um.... well you read it
She handed me the magazine and there was a picture of Mike and Rick, they were kissing I looked at Meghan
Lola: what's the big problem, they are just kissing
Meghan: yeah..... But look at the bottom.
I was looking at the bottom and I was mind blown with all the negative comments, there were comments that said "God is going to Damn you to hell" and "they should die in a ditch together" and "I hope they get poisoned" I wanted to cry when I seen those comments, but I felt even more bad about Mike and Rick and how they felt about it, Meghan said they haven't picked up there phone since they seen those comments, they just wanted to be left alone. As I was going to class my phone was ringing, it was an unknown number, so I didn't answer it. I went into the class and everyone was starting at me, I felt uncomfortable, then Daniel whispered something in my ear
Daniel: do you want to sit in the back with me so you don't feel uncomfortable?
I said yes, he followed me to the back and he pulled my chair out for me to sit down, then I started shivering, I was getting cold, then he gave me his jacket and kissed me on my forehead and told me to just relax and that he was here and that I was safe with him. I started to breathe and relax, I was starting to fall asleep, when Daniel scooted over and I told me u can go to sleep on his chest and shoulder, our teacher didn't give me any assignments, she knew what happened,she just wanted me to relax. Just then my phone started ringing again, Daniel reached over and turned it off so I can sleep. I was so warm and comfortable in his arms, then an hour later the bell rang, Daniel woke me up, he gazed upon my hair and told me it was time for the next class. While we were walking to the next class, I seen Vicky and Victoria, they ran up to me and hugged me, they almost broke my back, I was getting special treatments from everyone especially Daniel. While we were in our class Victoria threw a paper airplane at me, I opened it and it said
Victoria: so do you like Daniel, because he sure likes you, he won't stop talking about you. I wrote her back saying
Lola: I know he likes me, I can tell, and I'm to scared to start dating again because what if this exact same thing happens again and...... wait you said he talks about me? What does he say about me? I threw it back at her, I seen her write something and throw it back, I opened it and it said
Victoria: Oh Yeah! He said things like, your gorgeous and he just wants to make you happy and give you everything your heart desires, stuff like that.
I was shocked, then I looked at Daniel, I hid the paper so he couldn't see it, I smiled at him and threw the paper back to Victoria. Then she wrote another thing in the plane and threw it back to me it said
Victoria: I know you like him, just tell me I won't tell anyone I promise.
Lola: I like him but I'm to scared to take a chance. I threw it back at her and she opened it and looked at me funny, I wanted to laugh but whenever I do, my ribs start hurting. Then my phone started to ring again, well this time it was a text message from an unknown number again, I looked at the message and it said
??:I'm watching you.... your going to get it when I'm out of this cell, this is a warning. I was scared and I was to terrified to tell Daniel, I didn't want him to get hurt. So I deleted the message and put my phone up. I started yawning and Daniel let me sleep across his shoulder again and I fell asleep, while I was sleeping I had a bad dream about Ryan, he was trying to kill me, I knew it was a dream because my head started getting hot and I grabbed onto Daniels shirt. I felt him grabbing my hand and I screamed in a soft but loud whisper NO! NO! STOP PLEASE NO! Then I woke up and jumped. When I got up, Daniel looked at me and asked if I was okay, I put my hands over my face and cried and I said
Lola: can we get out of here please?
Daniel: yes
He helped me up and we went into the cafeteria, when no one was there he put a cold towel on my head and told me to just relax. Daniel held my hand and never let it go, then Moose, Victoria, Vicky, Layla, Meghan, and Rain came and asked if I was okay. Then the cafeteria lady came over and gave me my lunch and sat next to me, I told her what happened and showed her the number that kept calling and texting, then she looked at me and said
Cafeteria lady: huh.... sweetie those texted are from Ryan, he's out of jail.
I wanted to start crying again, but I didn't I just layed on Daniels shoulder and chest again. He held me in his arms and told me everything was going to be alright. I looked at him and asked
Lola-Alexandra: can we go home now?
Daniel: but schools not over yet
Lola-Alexandra: I know, I just want to go home and rest.
Daniel: okay let's go
Then everyone wanted to come, Daniel agreed but he said I'm sitting in the front, we were about to leave, we got in the car and drove off. Daniel looked at me and said
Daniel: why don't you come over my house? And you can stay there a few days or weeks or so. Plus my parents really want to meet you.
Lola-Alexandra: but I don't have any clothes to wear.
Moose: don't worry, me and Layla will get them and tell mom and dad we're staying with you for 2 weeks. I was terrified, but I agreed, I was going to be safe and comfortable. Then I heard my mom and dad come out and run to the car
Mom and dad: be careful we packed you 2 months worth of clothes.
2 MONTHS?! But I only agreed 2 weeks.
Mom: we know, when moose told us we decided 2 weeks wasn't good enough so we decided 2 months for you to be healed and ready, especially for prom, the school said that will email your work on the computer.
They smiled at me and told me to call them when I get all settled in, as the car was driving off, I waved good-bye to my parents. Daniel drove nice and calm and fast, but I didn't care I was safe, as night fell everyone in the car was sleeping, I had my eyes closed while Daniel was still driving. I felt Daniel put a blanket on me, then I said his name
Lola-Alexandra: Daniel?
Daniel: yes?
Lola-Alexandra: thank you
Daniel: for what?
Lola-Alexandra: thank you for being here when I needed you.
Daniel: well of course, your my girl, I will always be here for you no matter what time or day, I will be here.
We finally arrived at Daniels house, well actually his parents house, we're staying here over night, since I was so tired. Daniel carried me into the house and sat me in the chair, I heard his parents come down, I didn't get a good look at them when I was at the hospital. All of a sudden his mom ran downstairs and said
Daniels mom: who's this song?
Daniel introduced everyone then he said
Daniel: I saved the best for last, mom, dad this is.....(Gco)
Daniels mom: stop! Don't tell me, this is the gorgeously beautiful Lola-Alexandra, we've heard so much about you, your even more GORGEOUS on person.
Lola-Alexandra: hi Mrs. Husker
Daniels mom: oh please call me Diana. And this is my husband Dylan. His look scared me then he said
Daniels dad: we've heard great things about you ms. Lola.
He shook my hand really hard, I felt like it was going to come off. We all sat down, Daniels mom got us settled in all the rooms, Daniel and I were going to sleep downstairs so I won't have to go upstairs and downstairs. We walked into Daniels room it looked so comfortable, the bed was really big and he had a big television set, Daniel picked me up and carried me to his bed and layed me down and out the covers on me and kissed my forehead and said
Daniel:your safe with me.
I instantly fell asleep, Daniel stayed with me for a little bit, then he left to go cook since I didn't eat anything. I was having another bad dream, I felt my head sweating and I was screaming STOP, STOP, STOP! I heard Daniel run in and out his hand on mine and woke me up, my head was really warm, Daniel gave me a cold towel and gave me some food, mashed potatoes, chicken, rice, and green beans and a little bit of Dr.pepper. He stayed up with me until I finished my food and fell asleep, and covered me with a blanket. I layed on his chest and he grabbed my hand never letting it go. Morning fell and I woke up checking on my leg seeing if I can walk, my leg was a little sore but not like it was, I was walking a little bit. I walked out of Daniels room and into the kitchen, everyone looked at me and Vicky said
Vicky: what are you doing!?
Lola-Alexandra: I'm walking a little bit. I limped to the couch where Daniel was sitting, and all of a sudden my phone was beeping, I was a text message from Ryan. I put my phone down and we were all ready to go, I had a doctors appointment to get my leg checked, when we arrived at the hospital doctor Hadley was impressed on how I was walking a little bit, doctor Hadley said I should be walking in a few days. Everything was perfect but it all stopped when my phone was ringing again, it was Ryan I slowly picked it up and answered it......
