Life kinda sucks
Thought an overworked completely normal man while standing idly behind the cashiers.
Today was...to say the least boring as ever, greeting customers with a totaly not forced professional smile, helping out elders in getting groceries, punching snacks— not literary, and clenaing the store.
He soon snaps out of his daydreaming richy and nepo baby life and looks up at the clock.
11:50 PM
10 more minutes until closing off. He looks around the empty store before walking to the janitor's closet to begin cleaning. 'Better to clean early to leave early' as what the tired worker thought
Wipe, mop, going back to the cashier area to check out the groceries of few customers then went to wiping and moping again. As usual, his mind starts to drift off into his ai generated looking dreams before snapping out of it.
Somehow, he feels a shiver run down his spine as he felt someone— something watching him. Looking left, right and around he found no creepy and weird person. That's weird, that's suspicious. Nevertheless he shrug it off.
But he feels that something big is about to happen to him- more likely on his life. Yet cannot comprehend if it was a good or a bad thing... hopefully not the latter.
Finally done cleaning up and storing away thr cleaning tools to its storage, he look up at the clock to check the time.
12:00 AM
He feels more energized more as he thought of the relaxing things he can do when he got home— which is just sleeping. He giddily began closing for the night and lock all doors and walk straight to his home and fall dead asleep on his sweet and cold bed.

"Finally, I found a suitable human..."
Purr out a relaxed fox resting on somebody's roof which fortunately doesn't have any dog or cat poop lying around and waiting for some fly to absorb the sweet aroma of the waste. The sly fox purrs happily now that it found a new master earlier.
It can finally chill its senses!! After spotting a bored man in a random convenience store he felt a tug and a spark filling his whole soul— and that's when it knew it found its master, hopefully it's a responsible one.

He woke up as usual at 7:00 am, slowly sitting up to start getting ready for his work— if there isn't a random fox on top of him and is just staring at him.
Just, staring at him with those beady eyes.
Like any other person, he freaked out and screeches that the poor fox almost thought its sensitive ears almost bled out as it jumps back into the floor. Then it spoke—
"You sure are jumpy, Human ! !"
